That first review on Tonsee is mine. Still waiting to hear now from the 2nd seller, sikai2011.

I truly don't believe the 38mm leather loop (in any color) exists.
I ordered one 38 mm band off eBay from Tonsee and one 42 mm off Amazon from another seller.
I'm still waiting for my Amazon band. Tonsee from eBay gave me a tracking number for china post but I never received the 38 mm. Tonsee said it was returned because it didn't clear customs. They did refund my money.
Yes it felt like a loan. Hopefully Amazon will deliver on my 42 mm LL black. They have until the 22 of June for me to receive it or Give me my money back.

Is your second order from ebay as well?

I have ordered mine through aliexpress (linked in the original post), the company I'm dealing with is SIKAI. I wonder if it is the same person.

Second order was also from ebay (sikai2011). I've just received my refund from them. I've had only good luck using aliexpress.

Wow there's a direct knockoff listed as 1:1 of the link bracelet. I'd try it if it were available in black - all express

It's annoying that all these $25 bands come with stainless connectors so those with sgs have to pay for the band and another $10-15 for adapters.
Lyndsey $60-75 leather loop knockoffs are going to drop to $30 quick

At that price I'm not taking a cheap knockoff.

I'm a,so very concerned that the leather from China is dog leather. It's extremely common

What country are you in and where did you order? They're going for 40$ if you wait to $55 if you want it in the next month here. No extras included doing a straight currency conversion seldom works out to be correct on cost.

I just ordered the black one via Amazon as I had a gift card and dint feel like waiting to save $10

I sent the same question to all the sellers that have the fake leather loops on eBay. Yup! I said all of them.
They are ALL scams.
These are their names but to keep them on watch you should send a message because they change their store names very often so they don't get reported to eBay.
I have reported them all but it might help if you guys report them too so that no more people like us gets scammed.
Tonsee-best and Sikai stole good money from me and I'm still literally fighting to get my money back.
Here's the list of all the ones I contacted asking for real time photos of the loops and note that NONE of them were able to actually send me a real photo because they either "sold out" or they're defective or they buy them from other sellers one of them stated.
Fishy ain't it? I asked to see the real product because I figured if they gave me a legit photo of the color bands unavailable by apple like the red and white, if they provide real photos right away instead of the generic ones everyone else has, then I'll believe it's true.
However upon getting their replies and everyone evaded direct questions, I know what they were up to. I said I wanted to buy 3 bands from each of them and they all immediately within minutes replied saying things like "it'll be there in 10 days. I promise" from China? In 10 flipping days? No way.

The red leather loop I bought from AliExpress has just shipped.
I paid for DHL express so it should be here in a couple of days, assuming Customs don't delay delivery.

I can't imagine how they've gotten any good feedback. Of course, since they do have quite a bit, it will require a lot for eBay to do anything about them.

Thanks for doing the legwork though, so everyone knows exactly who to avoid.

Not just pictures, but if you actually receive one, link us directly since that's what everyone is craving.

I know. I won't believe it until I actually receive it. I just checked DHL and tracking isn't showing any information.. let's wait a few hours.

unfortunately I believe you will be disappointed since it is very clear that the band is completely different than apple band.

they are using adaptors which means that band will not be connected directly to watch. I do not want to disappoint you but I want you to be ready lol

What seller did you use?! I'm wanting to buy a red leather loop after the last seller (sikai) cancelled my order after over a month.

Also bought the black one from tonsee or whatever the name from ebay, filed an amex dispute for that too!

I got my classic leather band today from AliExpress. The band is plasticky but it's comfortable and doesn't look too, too bad. I had to spray paint the lugs but all I had was heat-resistant enamel for barbecue pits. But the color works :p

..."it'll be there in 10 days. I promise" from China? In 10 flipping days? No way.

Not doubting the legitimacy of some of these shady Chinese sellers or your experience, but just FYI, I regularly receive items from China Post in 10 days. Sometimes more, sometimes less, but it's definitely possible to receive items from China within this timeframe.

So did I. Sikai from eBay sent me these just about an hour ago saying that they have them now.
I still don't believe him considering he stole money from me and won't refund me so much I had to contact eBay about it.

These are from eBay of course.

Anyhow, I found a seller with amazing feedback thus far, and he has this combo mesh strap. Check it out.
Am considering getting one. I remember someone in the bands and straps thread is wearing one of these.
