Classic buckle
My wife and I just received our fake classic buckles (one 38mm one 42mm) from eBay in black leather. They are... fake. They look fine from a distance, but up close they have a few issues:
The buckle is cheaper metal, it has some pits and bumps and is not perfectly smooth.
The leather is cheap, squeaks and already has some wrinkles on the inside. I fear it could separate.
The part which goes into the watch is not perfectly shaped, so there is a slight ridge on the corners.
The bar which goes in the strap is not polished chrome, it's dull and matte.
Overall, not bad for $20 but nowhere near Apple's quality.

The fake leather loop that I ordered from aliexpress (linked in the original thread)
was delayed. The seller said there was a problem with the magnets, so they needed a few more days.

I order one from eBay a 38mm and one from Amazon a 42 mm. I contacted both sellers today because I noticed the same thing. They assured me that both have shipped and I should receive items in the delivery window I was given. June 4 - July 22. No tracking numbers yet because they haven't made it through customs they told me.
My knockoff leather loop shipped from china. Should be here in a few weeks

actually yes, i just got them yesterday. I like them! They're a little heavier than the HOCO ones.

How's the leather on the Rock band feel? I've heard the Hoco feels a little plasticky.
Do you feel like the adapters on the Rock are better than the Hoco? Or are they basically the same...They look a little dull and ill fitting. Sorry for all the questions, just trying to see if I should just buy the Apple Classic buckle or the Rock. I'm a little OCD with build quality...
i don't think i feel one way or another about it. here are some more up-close photos. Sorry my watch is kinda sweaty looking. But yeah, they're going to be $20 bands and not $150 bands. I think it just depends what is worth it to you. Or just buy one and see--not a huge loss if you're not into it.

I just ordered one that has the same pictures as that listing though you have to specify which size. Did you get yours in yet?
I might have wasted $20 bucks but who knows? Maybe I'll be surprised.
I got it today, overall quite happy for the price. The band is a little too plasticky feeling but I can always change that later.

Seriously, I am dying to hear about these things. I will definitely pick up a few. I have the Stone Apple LL, but for the few times I would like a different color, I would be satisfied with a slightly lower quality, but much cheaper alternative.
I just bought a red leather loop fake off ebay.. £35.. let's see (that's 25% of Apple's retail price in the UK)
Those that ordered them are probably still waiting for them to be delivered from China. It can take up to 6 weeks.

I also think they're going to ship me the wrong one. The seller sent me a picture of the band after their production finished. It's blue, I ordered black.
I'm hoping they're just showing a random band and not the one I ordered. The metal part of the loop is also a gold/brass colour.. We'll see what I actually get in the mail.

Unfortunately it seems the eBay seller I bought the red leather loop is giving me a hard time. In his description he said I could pay for express delivery for $15 which I thought was very reasonable.
First he said it wasn't recommended because it was expensive. When I said I was happy to pay for it then he got back claiming he wouldn't guarantee a faster delivery to my country.
I live in the United Kingdom.... It just feels very dodgy to be honest. I don't even think he has any product as of right now.

I posted these photos on the other thread, but here they are again! Just got my HOCO Brown Leather Band (used with a 38mm Aluminum Watch). Feels premium and I love the texture + silver/brown combination; very happy!
