All that does is support my original statement that the Google camera should get tested again in a couple months.....it could actually produce better photos in the future through update the Visual Core. Not many cameras can get better over time.......

Yes, it should get tested again. I’m just pointing out that testing it immediately when the PVC gets activated is pointless.
So the visual core will allow 3 party apps to access hdr on the camera?
Why would it make the pixels camera better?
But you don’t know how the other phones are selling. Customers may not be as “fatigued” with the old design as you believe they are.
The X is reported to be outselling the older models everywhere. People are even downgrading their screen size to get it. Why are people hyping the X so much and why is it out of inventory everywhere when its a smaller screen? Answer- FaceID and Bezelless OLED design
Just take look at the lines at the Apple Store for the X vs the 8 and the preorders. I ordered within a few minutes and got a 2 month delay while the 8 Plus is available for pickup this week.

Reported to = guess. However I stand by my comment you can only guess at what people like and are doing and cannot substantiate any opinions. But I agree the new kid in the block will garner attention.
And it must be true that if you can pick up an 8 at the Apple store it’s not selling.
The X will outsell the 8 and you will hear Apple talk about it exceeding all their expecatations once their financial results come out. The 8 design is likely disappearing next year and this pricing will make a permanent foothold
It is expected the X will outsell the 8. This comment has nothing to do with that, only your earlier comment about “fatigue“. I do not believe the current form factor will be retired for a few years.
If the X is outselling the 8 than lets examine the difference here. The only feature which the X has over the 8 which is user facing and a major selling point is the bezelless design and the oled screen. I held the X in hand the other day and someone coming from a Plus is downgrading the screen size for a higher quality smaller screen just so he can enjoy that new design and personally despite the X being more vibrant the 7 has the bigger screen which has a much bigger impact. So if the X is still outselling the Plus ,its just the design aspect of it and a better camera.
As far as the home button iPhones go, I believe they exist for 2 reasons. Supply problems and a test run of the X price point. I believe those supply problems will be ironed out by next year. If enough people buy the X (i.e. for instance 10 to 1 goes for the X vs the 8), they will discontinue the older design and go all in on the X. Also they are quite safe in doing this because Android is now charging the same price as the X for its flagships so its not like the customer is going to find a much better deal on the opposite side.
However as I said design fatigue will entice even Plus users to go for it and it will end up meeting Apple's set expectations to discontinue the older design. Heck, I dont like the smaller screen yet the design entices me

And the iPhone X is outselling both those models.
The Note 8 has far more manual and raw capabilities than any iPhone or Pixel device. If you love editing photos on a PC...the note 8 is the way to go. Picture quality is debatable but you can do a whole lot with the Note 8 and raw images.
what videos are you watching? there is nothing that sucks about the x camera. It's an amazing camera and just as good as what the note and pixe;l has to offer. Some situations note and pixel will be better but that all depends on the situation of shots.

Sales is no surprise.
The x likely crushes both the note 8 and pixel 2 in sales. Think we know people want the x over any other device. Thats expected.
It's funny how people are comparing cameras with a near perfect score like they actually use the camera for more than just taking pictures of their dogs. They're both good, does it matter?
Yes it will outsell all the other phones combined. My point was that the main reason a potential 8 Plus owner wants this device is the bezelless design and the screen. By 16:9 standards, the effective screen size of the X is probably close to 5.1 inches and that’s a downgrade from the Plus and along with lesser battery life yet it’s only the design which is why it’s popular. Internally it’s almost the same so there’s just no reason why the 8 Plus is selling in lesser numbers than the X except it’s the superior design of the X.
The Plus owners are getting their 6.4 inch iPhone X Plus next year yet they are getting enticed by this smaller phone. I am guilty of it myself but I just can’t bear not looking at that bezelless design. The Plus design is getting long in the tooth.
I have the 8 plus and don't mind the bezels at all. With the 8 plus I get a better user experience.
I get TouchID which was touted at the best by all Apple aficionados and enthusiasts until now.
It is faster and easier to use.....I can get to my home screen in ONE step. Generally I can have my finger on the FPS while it is in my pocket and unlocked while taking it out of my pocket. Then I am instantly at my home screen....no swiping involved.
I feel that in today’s market, there are many flagship smartphones with excellent cameras. I do feel for a premium price of $1150 plus tax plus the $75 for fast charging so almost $1300, the iPhone X should be rated as the absolute best in terms of total quality and max features when in fact it is not. I am an Apple fan 100% but the Note 8 or One+5 or a few others are fantastic options if your ok leaving the Apple eco system.
How could you know the reason anyone other than yourself wants the phone. I’m ambivalent about bezels and oled, but the entire Face ID thing intrigues me.
As far as the cameras various reviews don’t think the X is “totally outperformed “.

especially when having drinks.I have to say, having Auto Focus on the front camera has helped a lot , now we just need front OIS to!
