A big yes. It fits perfectly between my 24-inch iMac and iPhone 3GS. Those car racing games are excellent.

This is a OMG!!!! YAY!!! I have to say that I am loving this iPad. It fits well between my iPhone and my Mac Pro. I think everyone should own one.

I picked mine up around 11PM on the 3rd. It's now 2AM [on the 4th] and I just put it down. Yes I have been on the device for over 14 hours and the device is still at 20% battery capacity. That is just amazing. I watched at least 5 hours of video, browsed the web while listening to music, played a few games.

At first I was unsure if I wanted it; then I decided I would get the 16GB model just to try it out; instead I ended up with the 64GB model and I am definitely satisfied with my purchase.

Definitely. I was one of the individuals who thought it was just a over glorified iPod touch. Played around with the demo unit, and walked out of the store with one. I have been using since this morning, in fact writing this very post with it as I simply can't put it down. Simply put it's amazing what this device is capable of, and will put it to the test when I bring it to work next week.

I'll be honest and say it: Its a giant iPod touch. But is that a bad thing? Heck no! Due to the faster cpu and larger screen its just more useable for other things now (like surfing non mobile web sites as an example). So far I'm loving mine.

My only real major complaint (other than a sore arm from using it for the past 10 hours) is the upscaling for iPhone apps isn't very good. It works fine just a bit ugly (iPad and Universal apps such as Metal Gear are pretty though). I'm also a little annoyed that my front and rear USB ports on my desktop don't seem to have the juice to charge it.

Yay.

Very cool device. The only downside so far, has been trying to get it back from my wife or son.

The 2nd generation better come out quickly so I can upgrade and hand-down this one. I'm not sure I'll be able to hold off on buying a second iPad till then.

Yay!!

I have also been on my iPad for more than 12 hours now and am blown away. I feel like I'll be betraying it if I go to sleep.

Honestly, this thing is awesome as it is, but just imagine what this thing will do in the coming years... The iPad has more potential than any device I have ever owned.

Second day and still a big fat YAY!!!!!!
Lovin' this thing.... I'm addicted:cool:

It's really amazing. 3 of my friends saw me use it and they love it. They are now getting it asap.

A big Yay that I desined a wooden stand for my iPad

I needed a heavier stand than the flimsy aluminum or plastic stands.

After looking around i was disappointed. Finally designed & built one myself using maple hardwood. It is almost as heavy as the ipad & doesn't skid. I am using the ipad as a touch computer. For more info & images visit my site.

Yea! During the keynote, I was a little turned off with all the "magical", "extraordinary", "incredible"...superlatives, but I was definitely interested.

Within a month, I had realized the possibilities that the iPad could have for me, and so I preordered...

After trying it out now for the past two days, I can say that it goes beyond all my original expectations, and while I DO think the experience is pretty awesome, Apple needs to leave the "magic" to arch-magi and wizards.

Yea++!!

a resounding yes. the more i use it, the more i realize how much of a game changer this device will be.

Steve did not disappoint. Massive YAY. What I didn't expect though was that I'd find it so addictive for Web browsing & videos & not really like it as much as a book reader. The iPad really is the future of laptops I think. My MBP seems so clunky now -- though clearly not getting rid of it any time soon.

At first I wasn't convinced. The lack of multi-tasking, the form factor being a large iPod... etc.

Leading up to launch day, the Apps started being previewed... and I was starting to be convinced.

On launch day, I went to the store and checked it out... it was a really pleasant experience.

Went home and used my MacBook (current travel/portable media device), and realized... I was probably going to buy an iPad.

Went back to the store on Sunday... played with it some more... and bought it.

Now to sell my MacBook. :)
