I've seen that too, which is funny because on Apple's site it lists the 7 JB as being able to ship in 3-5 weeks (but available for next day pickup in almost every store near me). At this rate the plus JB will be stocked in stores before those of us who are stuck in processing have seen any kind of change

Well, think of it this way, it's finally October! Although Apple have taken our dreams of getting our new iPhone 7 in jet or matte black in a timely manner & stomped all over us, they will alas be in our little waiting hands soon.So damn tired of waiting...

My wife got her 7+ 128gb Rose Gold today. She originally had Nov 11-14...still waiting for my 7+ 128gb Matte Black and we ordered them at the same time and now I'm Oct 21-28. AARGH!!!!
non-iUP orders with the oct 18-31 delivery date, I wouldn't expect anything super special, at least 3-4 business days early is my guess. I'm not getting my hopes up until Oct 13 the earliest
Same here. My wife got hers from 18-31Oct on 17 September. SHE ORDERED HERS AFTER I DID. Same phone, same plan, same carrier! She loves rubbing it in my face too
What's with all the wives getting them early, bloody sexist is what it is. That settles it, next year I'm pretending to be a woman, hopefully my wife won't faint when she comes home to find me sitting in a dress ordering an iPhone
Well, that explains it. Next time I'll have the wife ordering them. Only good thing about it all is right now she thinks it's apple's fault for the delay!

My wife's shipped Sept. 29, arrived Oct. 3. Mine still hasn't moved.
I suspect her Rose Gold 7 32mb wasn't nearly as in demand as my Matte Black 7 32mb, thus her early arrival.
Exactly. I had no pre order but went into Apple and bought 2 jet blacks 4.7 this past weekend.
Maybe I should've clarified that I was talking about non-iUP jet black 128/256 7+
I don't know why we are talking about any other phones when every other configuration is not in a heavy back order and most configurations are already readily available in stores.
Maybe where you are, where I am most any of the 7+ range are like hens teeth 95% of the time, particularly if you're buying outright rather than taking a contract. If I could have had one by now I'd have cancelled my Apple order and jumped on it.
Different regions in the US have most of the configurations except for the 7+ jet black

I'm in NYC, and yeah, at this point the only ones that aren't heavily stocked are the 7+ in either black. The matte black pops up every few days or so according to istock, but usually disappears within a few mins. I almost snagged one a few days ago thinking that I should just give up on the jet black I ordered, but it was gone before I could decide either way.
