Pixelbook have the same two tone design on the back as the phones?
It really was pretty good. Lots of surprise products, like the Home Max. And did not see that DXO score coming. I know DXO isn't the be all end all, but that's a seriously impressive score. Plus the continuation of Photos backups and now 3 years of software support instead of 2 (both security patches and OS upgrades).
Did I hear correctly that the front camera is the same as the back camera, or did I imagine that?
The Pixelbook looks amazing. In my attempt to get my 12.9 iPad Pro to replace my 11" MBA+iPad Mini 4, I discovered that chromebooks (I have been doing extensive testing with an Acer R11) in many respects do a better job for my tasks (but not all)... added benefit of remotely connecting to my iMac when I need to do macOS things.I actually really like this look for the Pixelbook. Check out Verge's video impressions, it looks beautiful!

The Pixelbook is priced about $200-300 too high IMO. I had been holding off to see what "top tier" chromebook I'd buy but it seems like the Samsung Chromebook Plus is at the top of the list for now. (unless the pixelbook gets discounted)

How is it ironic?Kinda ironic some complaining about the price on an Apple forum.
How is it ironic?
It's not really. You get a lot more in a Mac at this point.Kinda ironic some complaining about the price on an Apple forum.

That's not a Mac.Guess you haven’t seen the price of the iPhone X.
How can anyone disagree with pixel's fast charging capability: 15 mins charge for 7 hr use?
To be honest, i don't know. My understanding is that pixel uses usb c.I don't think I've ever heard of 7 hours in just 15 minutes. What's the best closest thing? OnePlus' Dash charge?
AND you get a fast-charging capable charger included IN THE BOX.How can anyone disagree with pixel's fast charging capability: 15 mins charge for 7 hr use?

Now what company is it that makes you purchase a separate charger for that feature? Their name escapes me.
Seems like Google got that handled. lolAND you get a fast-charging capable charger included IN THE BOX.

Good question....never came to my mind about that. They got TRANSLATOR earbuds, REAL TIME.Serious question: how come no Pixel watch?

Maybe google will develop their own "G"-shock watches. lol.
Hey. I like that "g-string" earbuds. lol. Seriously, that kind of tech is amazing though.hopefully it looks better than the G-string earbuds
