The conversational translation via the Pixelbuds is pretty damn cool. See an awful lot of Apple AirPods mimicry but I’m not faulting Google because the AirPods are pretty damn nice.

On their own, yeah, 5 hours wouldn’t be impressive. I said the same thing about AirPods before I owned them. Having an extra 24 hours of charge in the case though makes that 5 hrs in truth a whole lot longer.
I have to imagine most of the models aren't far behind. Kind of a jerk move to launch the store during the keynote.
If only google had their own watch then i would be tempted.

yeah, but they've done this before. I remember I got the 6p and 5x pre-ordered during the keynote because I figured out the URL (based on the nexus 6 listing in the store).
This X1000! My Apple Watch is a lynchpin in my Apple ecosystem at the moment and Android Wear on any existing hardware doesn’t come close to replacing it.
SO MUCH GOOGLE.

I personally went for the 64GB and used the savings to put towards the device protection package.

I'm in the UK and the 'Black & White' 128GB Plus shows as shipping in December 2017, so I'm guessing it's close to being out of stock.
I didn't try. I had already ordered it about 10 minutes ago. I just was checking back to see what stock is looking like.
Same old story every year with Google. This is why the first and only Google phone that I have ever owned was the Nexus 4. Who wants to wait a month or more to get a phone?
The black pixel XL 2 128GB ships in a few weeks!? So the panda version has a further out ship date by a month or so
