I am not sure what really went down, and I don't have time to go back and read it all, but I just wanted you to know that I always thought you were one of the best mods on spymac and I don't have 1 negative thing to say about you--I think it's really lame that they took your mod status away...
 
I'm new, too - sorta.

I've been lurking on MacRumors and have posted a couple times.

I'm going to start checking it out more though after this spymac crap went down.

Yep this site looks clean and not commercial like spywack.

seem to have a good bunch of guys,on here, i wonder what the mods are like on here ?

The mods are a good, fair bunch.

Arn owns the site (along with blakespot who is pretty much a silent partner it would seem). Mudbug approves articles for the front page & MacBytes etc. Then we have Rower_CPU, Mr. Anderson, Doctor Q & Mudbug (again) as our mods.

eyelikeart & AmbitiousLemon are also mods, but we haven't seen too much of them recently.

You'll need to have 500 posts (for the love of God don't spam the forums though!) before you can have an avatar. If you just spam (post meaningless crap like 'me too' or 'that's funny', or posts that contain just a smily) you may wind up banned.... fair warning.

That still really bugs me, it wasn't even respectable members who were complaining about you as a mod. It was just n00bs who had no idea of the TOS or the basic guidelines Spymac has.

I'm hit up this site not too often, but you coming over got me to register. It sucks that something that hairy happened, but you will come out on top of it. There are a lot of P.O.'d people over there, and I am too.

BTW I was always a fan of your strait to the point. Doing tech support all day for a living, it was nice to see someone actually say what they wanted to.

Keep the work up man!
 
It is good to see some of the good ole bunch coming over here .. and people here have not to worry .. I trained them well: they won't spam or disrupt anything ..

I guess people over there wanted me to sugar coat every note or reply .. and wanted me to be nothing but a mod .. but I refuse to do both .. as an unpaid volunteer I think I was allowed to have fun there too and seeing how much modding the site needed there was no time to coat every request to abide to the rules in sugar and cream ..

Some of my haters were ole and some new .. didn't matter to me .. violate the rules and I will act ..
