No more MN? Don't you think it's finally time to give up on BlackBerry? <sigh>

The blog got sidelined when I was going through chemo, and I just don't have the energy to maintain it now.

Still on MN, but always liked to spread my wings. Used to post on HF and PINstacks back in the day, and I'm pretty active on the One Plus forums. You know me a free spirit. ;)

I honestly think BB has a shot with this new device, BUT we shall see, they have certainly shot themselves in the foot enough. ;) But a small piece of my heart will always belong to BlackBerry that is a fact, I have to be honest. :)

Hi everyone, I am obviously new here to the forums but not new to apple products. I have owned every iPhone to date, currently using a silver 128gb 6S. I am known to teeter back and forth between the regular and plus versions as I cannot seem to make up my mind between the two. The old, 'larger screen and OIS vs one handed use and pocketability' debate.

My household includes my wife, 8 year old daughter, 2 pugs and a cat. We own an iPhone 6, 6s, iPod touch 5th gen, 2012 MacBook Pro, iPad mini 2 and Apple TV. Yesterday I picked up a pair of blue Beats urbeats, also in the Apple family.

Aside from family and apple products, I love pugs, music, and the Chicago Cubs. I hope that I can contribute in a positive way, sharing in discussion and offering my knowledge when applicable. Feel free to reach at anytime with any questions, concerns, or thoughts you may have.

Cheers!!
Welcome Finn! It's great seeing you here...

Hey People
Names Adrian. Im a Mac user since the late 80's and now 30 years later im a vintage Mac repairer/restorer. I cant say that Im a big user of Apple products these days, its all the old stuff with me. From the 128K up to the TAM. Been repairing these old machines for over 6 years.

Im based in Ireland and Im glad to help anyone with problems on their 68K Macs. Its all good fun. Cheers from Ireland.

Hi Adrian. I bought my dad a 20th Ann Mac while I was working at Apple. I live in San Diego, CA. He recently passed away in central Florida. I want to ship the TAM to CA but - although I begged him to save the box - he didn't.

I want to buy the original shipping box - that's all. I'm uncomfortable trying to ship it in anything else.

Any ideas>

New user registration here, but I've been lurking on the MR forums for many years. I've been through the gamut of Apple products, from Mac Pro -> iMac -> Mac Mini -> non-Retina Macbook Pro -> Retina Macbook Pro (13 & 15) -> 12" Retina Macbook which is what I currently use today :). The iPhone has seen less hopping around, but I'm currently happy to be on a 6s.

I am more active on Ars Technica and Hardforum (phillyboy on both), but I'll chip in here-and-there and hope to contribute enough to help.

Ive spent the morning checking out this place, it way more suits my style. Heck, Ive even seen threads criticizing Apple, which on OTHER forums will only cause the fan bois to riot and get u banned.

Not that Im here to cause problems or trash Apple. I like Apple products. I just dont think they are above criticism.

Happy to be a new member.

Hello Folks,
I have been a long time reader of the forums and finally decided to join to try and make a meaningful contribution on occasion. As a long time Apple enthusiast and product owner (dating back to a second hand IIe in 1987 [wish I still had it]), this site has provided almost every technical answer I have needed. For that a big thank you to those willing to share their opinions and information.
The forums are well moderated and very respectful. I look forward to contributing as best I can and will try to do so with as much humour as possible.

I am Talukdar, new member of this forum.I just want to say hello to all the forum members. I am thinking about having a wrist watch. I have noticed that few Android wears are working on iPhone. So my question is which one would be the best choice, android wear or Apple watch?

Hi all, I think I'm new, as I can't remember if I've ever posted here. I've known of the site for about 15+ years. I remember this site being a royal pain in Apple ass, as the true rumors were often posted here. I reg because I've been combing thru post looking for ways to solve some issues with a couple of new PCIe cards. 1st is a Sonnet USB 3 pro card. All I got was a grey screen, until I put it in slot 1(Pro tower 4.1). Now it seems to work just fine. 2nd is a Sonnet esata pro card. With both cards and my 5870 video card, I get a too much usb power warning every few days, but thats about it.

Anyway, just saying Hello.
