Hello, there and it is nice to meet you all.

I'm a newbie here and I am just so-called dumb because I have lost a lot of information about technology for the almost two decades. Now I am looking forward to recoup all the information that I miss out so I will be needing all of tech expert here to achieve the goal in short term especially related to Apple computers.

Hope that I can get tons of details from you and if I have any, I will try to help you out as well.

Cheers!!!

Hi All,
I'm looking for information about the G4 cube and specifically firmware. Can anybody tell me if its safe to update the firmware to 4.1.9 when booting from Mac OS 9.2.1. What I have read makes me wonder whether I need to be in 9.1
My ultimate aim is to have Dual boot (perhaps on separate discs) 9.2.2 and 10.4.11. Quite a lot of the links Ive found are empty so here's hoping somebody can help.

Hey guys,

I have been viewing the forum threads here on a daily basis for years but did not actually have an account. I finally decided to join the forum and give comments on certain issues affecting iPhone iOS 10. Hope to find like minded people here and raise the issues to Apple to get them fixed. Thanks!

It would do you better to start a new thread on the right board with this question.

Hello everyone. I'm getting ready to buy my first Macbook. My fiance and I are both going to college and we need a new computer. We have never had a Mac before so we are not sure what we want yet. We keep going back and forth between the Macbook and the Macbook Air. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thank you all!

At the moment I wonder what contribution this particular thread can provide members. At first, off-the-wall glance, my mind tells me our profile should be a sincere obligation to members. I do not seek a social network here; I seek to enhance my computer use creativity.

A person's profile seems like an important tool to understand a member's contribution to the forum reply process. Since taking Fortran IV in college back in 1965, I have used computers as mundane word processors/data bases...etc, now I seek a creative direction to this wonderful tool! Writing a book, an eBook, discovering a more heuristic communicative process is my current mental direction. I foresee video, image and voice elements as hardcore ingredients to innovative communication. I am hoping this forum will help a novice in this direction. Maybe I can contribute to society.

Now, I need to learn about this forum!

Hey all, glad to be on this site. Hope to get some insight about my Power Mac G5 Version late 2005.
I have Leopard 10.4.11 and trying to upgrade to Leopard 10.5 but computer seems to freeze at the
Install function. I left computer run all night and and next morning Pinwheel still spinning. Could I have
a defective DVR in my Mac? It is,after all, the original. I have a new external DVD but Mac does not see
it. Should I disconnect the orig DVR and maybe Mac can see the new DVD?

Hi. I joined this site because I'm getting a G3 600mhz next month. Curious what people now days are doing with their older Macs. I plan on trying to use mine as a DAW mainly. If it can do more I'll be thrilled.
