I am still within my 14 day return period for TMobile so curious if I should go or not.

Haven't experienced it all but don't want it to be an issue in the future.

Test if you have the issue .download an app called cpu-z and launch it and turn nfc on . Let it just sit there and yours will go wild if it has the issue. Mine directly from OnePlus doesn't have it

What does go wild look like? The numbers are changing but nothing else

Wow yea mine isn't doing that right now in testing with that app.

Doesn't mean it can't happen eventually though I guess

I got mine to display the ghost issue but I'm not sure if I'm concerned yet or not since it never happened outside the cpu-z app .

Today I loaded up the app and turned on nfc . The .I went to the "sensors" tab and let it sit for a few minutes and sure enough it did it .I never go it to do this until I went to the sensors tab.

Seems like you have to jump through hoops to get that to happen....then maybe in everyday use it will never happen. Then one great thing about OnePlus is that they send out updates very quickly.

This was my concern with getting the TMobile variant but loved the flexibility of the JOD and access to the carrier if needed. I dont see the issue with that app on and steps but not to say it won't happen in the future.

I assume TMobile will be controlling the OP updates and be a few behind compared to the direct ones from OP.

Yeah I don't think I'm concerned. It definitely seems software related but either way I haven't had it impact me in every day life.

@Cnasty The T-Mobile updates will be slower but you can probably flash the stock (non T-Mobile) firmware once you get your phone unlocked by T-mobile (paid off). I already got a camera update yesterday saying it improved the shutter press speed and overall picture rendering. I haven't had much time to test it yet but they seem to be on top of things for the most part.

Ok good to know! Just like any other unlocked device such as ATT I assume is you own it outright, unlock it, and then all that other delay goes away. Good info!

I'm not positive you can do this though so don't quote me. I'm not sure if the bootloader will stay locked on the Tmobile version, which wouldn't allow you to flash the stock firmware. XDA would be a good place to look into all this.

No issues as yet (fingers crossed) on my unlocked device straight from OnePlus.

Still loving it at the moment. I'm currently in Barcelona and was tempted to bring my iPhone just in case of any issues, but decided to go all in and test the phone for real.

It's been doing a fantastic job at taking pictures and being used for waking directions all day around then city.

I had a system update out of the box so not sure if that has fixed any potential issues before I spotted them.

Really loving it as well and I think finally after almost 2 weeks I have hit my Android stride and workflow that is comfortable.

I am still tempted by the Pixel line and that camera but I think I will be riding this out until the 4 comes out or if I find a truly amazing Pixel deal somewhere in the meantime.

Notifications are the biggest game changer for me coming from iOS and I love the way they are presented.

I just got my 7 Pro, and the speed/smoothness took me by surprised. Wow. 90Hz is the real deal! I am sitting here looking at my iPhone X like wtf. This is the FIRST Android phone I've personally used that can match iOS level of smoothness (it surpassed it). If it wasn't for iOS 13 Beta coming out next week, I'd switch to the 7 Pro full time. If you haven't tried this phone yet, please do so.

Glad you are seeing that in person as hearing and watching videos does not do it justice. I used my wife's XS last night and it felt jittery knowing it truly isn't but coming from the 90hz was fascinating.

I keep a good ol iPhone 7 in my drawer to mess with on iOS and for any betas but of course will want to see what the new iPhone is all about and probably even more excited for the Pixel 4 honestly.

I'm returning my 7 pro despite really enjoying it. I've had the problem below since day 1 and it only happens a couple of times per day but I'd rather it not happen at all . If I force close the app and reopen it fixes the problem. And no its not caused by my hand touching the edges. I will check out this phone again maybe in a couple months once things get ironed out.

I just tried this, and the screen went crazy.

I had the phone for a few hours, and already submitted for my return. I'm not dealing with this crap. I'll revisit the OnePlus 7 Pro in a few months.

Ah man that stinks!! I am still within my return window but I have had zero issues with mine at all but still am tempted by the Pixel line and now afraid something will pop up.

No ghost touches, no issues at all.

I feel like a loner over here in this thread now lol

I put in the RMA and have 30 days to get the device back to the return center. I packed it up and I got sad. I am actually considering keeping it and hoping it's a software issue. I'm following that twitter post to see if OnePlus responds .

I may have read it wrong, but is it a 15% return fee to send it back to OPO? I submitted my RMA due to the ghost touches.
