Curved screen i was never a fan of but have really gotten used to it and the Carbon bumper case from OP makes it a lot better in the hand. No accidental touches which has been nice.

Buttons feel premium, haptic engine is fantastic, loooooooove the slider that you can go from ring to vibrate to silent all on one slider.

Speakers are great as well and this screen is mesmerizing.

Did you get an 8gb or 12gb model?

The 8GB model and havent found 1 use case for the 12gb besides future proofing if even that.

It flies with no hiccups, app reloads or any other issues where I could see the need for more at this point.

For those that came from the xs max. Will you be keeping your OP7?

Yep! Had lots of Androids and nearly all iPhones over the years and have to say this is one of the most polished Android phone experiences I've had so far.

Early days but even the die hard anti Android folk in the house have admitted this is one nice phone.

Useless and trash pic because it isn't the top camera, might as well be using a flip phone....

Obviously kidding, great pic. People get so caught up in the camera hype and if something isn't the absolute "best" then it is not worth using

Quick question, does this phone or android for that matter have “speak selection” like iOS? When you highlight text and it speaks it back to you. I’m curious to see if android has that.

Quick question, why are there 2 pro models? Why is the TMO version more then the other pro version? What's special about it? Just financing fees and such?

I take it still no CDMA radios?

I've been taking glances at the device. Not sure I want to add a third pixel to the ever growing line up I'm collecting...

How about notifications not coming through until you unlock the phone?

I have read lots of users having problems with push notifications not coming through..most of them are only pushed until you unlock the phone.

I love the new OnePlus 7 Pro.
But the notifications problem would be a complete deal breaker for me

It's a total Android issue, not just with OnePlus... It has to do with Doze mode which is supposed to save power... You can easily root and disable this permanently or (what I do) disable it from my pc when/if I reboot my phone

Tmobile version sucks so only go with it if you HAVE to carrier finance... Otherwise buy directly from OnePlus

It's more because it's the 8 gig model, so same price for the 8 gig from OnePlus

The one from OnePlus directly will work with CDMA for Verizon only, not sure about sprint but I don't think so

I am not seeing that problem at all. Texts, tweets, and Slack notifications come through instantly for me everytime.

That would be a problem for me too but I haven't seen it once.

A couple days in and still enjoying the phone. Sadly the camera, as is, is still not great. It's acceptable but there's a bit of lag when you press the shutter to when it takes the pic Also the software tends to blow out highlights very easily. No pics yet because I mainly take pics of my kid but I'll try to snap a few today. If I needed the camera for a specific event I'd take my Pixel 3a for sure over this. They say an update is coming to the camera soon but I'm pretty sure they say this every year. I'm also sure the community is working on a Gcam port for the 7 Pro. Right now you can use Gcam but it's very limited and only works on the main camera. This phone might be perfect if they fix the camera software issue or if a more thorough Gcam port becomes available.

I did get over 8 hour SoT yesterday with 90hz and auto switch on resolution.

Hey OnePlus 7 people! Lets see some pics from your awesome new phone!

I don't have many but have been pleasantly surprised it's not this grotesque, terrible experience as stated. Perfectly capable for my needs.
