Purchase it, and I'm sure someone here on the board is more than willing to buy it off you.
On eBay and Swappa they go in the $550 range......

Here is a benchmark.

Sweet benchmarks....

I'm finally a kitkat over - or should be after a refresh :)

Haha, nice. I haven't been posting a lot lately, mostly lurking anymore...

Still Honeycomb haha

----------

I signed up at the website back in March, and never really posted on their forums much at all, maybe a few times back then, and never since.

I checked my e-mail this morning, and it said I had an invite ready for me, and would expire in 1 day.

Not sure i want to spend $300 on this, already having the awesome One M8, and with the Nexus 6 due out in three months or so, and will be like $399, and a better spec'd phone, I might rather just wait the few months for the N6 instead.

Yeah, that's cool. I signed up in April and this invite process is really dumb. I thought for sure I'd have a chance to buy one by now. Well, good luck whatever you decide to do...

Jamezr if you ever think of selling it (whenever you're going to change to a new phone) please send me a PM. I could be interested in buying it from you if you ever sell it, since it's almost impossible to get it :D:D

Congrats on the invite...how did you get the invite if I may ask? I am member #8178 over there and hoping these early supporter invites extend to me, but I doubt it....

It looks like you will get an invite very soon (maybe 3-6 days).

https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/...hat-they-got-their-invites-on-july-8th.53173/

What's an early supporter? Previously, we would include activity and other metrics in the mix in determining this. This time, it's all about registration date. Going by registration date means that there will be a lot of people whose accounts aren't active, which is why the early supporter invites in July will last 24 hours. As they expire, the next people in line will get them.

We'll start sending early supporter invites out on July 7, and continue throughout the month.

Look something like this so far:

July 7th: #1 - #1000
July 8th: #1001 - #3000

It will be a long wait for me since I'm #80,000+

GSM Arena Review

GSM Arena Review is up...

Here's a list of our other key test findings for the OnePlus One:

The display is good and quite bright, but the poor blacks cause an only average contrast ratio

Battery life was very good, especially call times

It benchmarks like a champ

The still camera is excellent and resolves plenty of detail

Video recording is second to none, and we don't say that only because of the great DCI 4K footage

Speakers are among the loudest we've tested

Managed to play every video format we threw at it, including those with DTS and AC3 audio tracks

Whats with EbookReader beating the drum so hard for this phone? Must be one of the investors or Devs. I mean fine, but call a spade a spade....and the invite system was a train wreck.
The article MRU posted brings out the mismanagement at OPO and the whole invite debacle. They have made so many mistakes with this phone. Their forums are a joke. They are just now starting to organize them so they make sense. They often hide threads or posts that call them out on their *****. They need to be called out on all this stuff.

But in all honesty....the OPO is one of the best phones i have had this year....and I have had a LOT of phones......

I never signed up there so ive only seen the couple posts that MRU posted. I refused to go and beg for an invite. I am not a good ass kisser at all.

As for the phone, ....im sure it is a good one. Its just the way they went about it was totally ridiculous. However, i think it would be too big for my taste anyways.

I never kissed ass either. I had very few posts. Never contributed... Don't know how I got an invite. But I did register on April so I am considered an early supporter

They are going by registration number now.

Something like this so far:

July 7th: #1 - #999
July 8th: #1000 - #2999
July 9th: #3000 - #3500

I'm #80,000+ so it will be sometimes in August/September for me if their production plan is on track
I'm in no hurry since I'm fine with my current phone.

junaugplan_jpg_46012.jpg

My prediction: invites will be easy to get in late August/early September.
If you can't wait till then, buy something else.

p.s. This is the Nexus 4 production plan and the main reason why it was not available for 3-4 months until early February. Google/LG way underestimated demand and only produce 70,000 units a month. They needed something like 500,000 a month to meet the demand.

http://techcrunch.com/2013/02/08/millionth-nexus-4/

Using the production estimates in the XDA developer forum thread, members have also estimated Nexus 4 production run totals by month — which appear to show production ramping up considerably in January. The estimates break down as follows:

October: 70,000
November: 90,000
Dec: 210,000
January: 550,000+

Here’s how Nexus 4 owners are crowdsourcing their IMEI numbers to generate the estimate:

Onething to keep in mind: OPO wants to emulate Xiaomi. Xiaomi is producing about 5 million smartphones a month. If OPO can produce 10% of Xiaomi, that's 500,000 units a month.

I'm a fan of high end device that sell for half the price. By getting rid of marketing (huge savings) and middleman (retailers, carriers etc..).

Nexus 4
Nexus 5
Xiaomi
Moto X (now $349)
and now OnePlus One.

I was hoping Amazon was going to join the club but they blew it.

I can wait until September to get this beast. If I can't, I will get something else instead (Nexus 6 probably)

Snapdragon 801 SoC
3GB RAM
13-megapixel camera
3,100mAh battery
5.5-inch 1080p display
LTE
16 GB storage for $299 or 64GB storage for $349

what a great deal! I wasn't planning on getting a new phone until October/November anyway.

5.5" for my liking is too big. Nice specs but like I said, they blew it with the awful invite BS. I don't play games to be invited to buy their phone. Just offer it for sale like everyone else.
I'd rather wait to see what the next Nexus brings.

That Amazon phone is actually really nice.

Well I totally forgot about the phone to be honest signed up months ago and was thinking I’ll just pull the trigger on the G3, while checking my email I stumbled on an invite from OPO so I claimed it and went ahead and ordered the phone seems like a solid phone and hoping all the software issues are resolved all the reviews I’ve read/watched so far have given this phone solid reviews considering how much your’e paying can’t wait to try the phone out hopefully they ship them pretty quick

Is the Oneplus One the best value for a smartphone ever?

OnePlus One

64 GB storage, 3GB RAM, 2.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor, 13 MP Sony back camera, 5 MP front facing camera, 5.5" 1080p 401 ppi IPS LCD display, 3100 mAHr battery.....all for only $349 unlocked. And you get Cyanogenmod out of the box.

Anybody here lucky enough to get an invite to buy this bad boy?

Here is a side by side with my HTC M8

How was the transition to a 5.5" phone? Was it hard to get used to the larger screen? Are you able to use the ONe now comfortably and reach all the menus without too much hassle? Can you use it with hand at least occasionally?

how lucky is that?

The invite is now based on registration date and so far

July 7: #1-#999
July 8: #1000- #2999
July 9: #3000 - #3499
July 10: #3500 - #4199

With OPO ramping up production (July will produce about 5 times more compare to June and August will produce 15 times more), more invites will be sent each day toward the later half of July.
