That might be the future for OPO....lets hope they keep the same price points! If this phone can get two or three big android updates from CM then it's a winner IMO.
Maybe next year if they release the OnePlus Two there won't be any need for invites. Hopefully they won't take months to release it also.
Imagine a OnePlus Two next year with Snapdragon 810 with 64 bit support, 4GB RAM, 128GB option (or microSD), etc.
But no QHD screen please
I want good battery life.
I'm now getting random messages from individuals who want an invite if I get one.
Can you imagine how many I get ..... people see I'm a KiKat and assume I have extra powers or some such.
Worse are the x-factor sob story ones. I had one person telling me they need an invite because they had cancer and didn't know if they could wait much longer as they may be dead !!!!!! That's the kind of sickness this horrendous system has created .....

Interesting... so at 0% you should have 6hr SOT Im going to be no where near that all Ive been doing is browsing and using IG/Whatspp no Videos/No Music so this is not good I should be getting way more than this ...For my uses I get about 3 hours screen time at the end of the day with about 50% left.
In your limited time with the OPO, what are your impressions? I like hearing different perspectives on something relatively new to the market. Especially when it's a "Startup" company. Startup is definitely in quotes (OPPO).
So far today..... 81% battery leftInteresting... so at 0% you should have 6hr SOT Im going to be no where near that all Ive been doing is browsing and using IG/Whatspp no Videos/No Music so this is not good I should be getting way more than this ...
Hey Ive only had the phone for about 3 days now, build quality is really good, pretty smooth and fluid I didnt have a single app crash on me yet.... coming from a Nexus 5 I was a bit worried about the 5.5 screen, but Im actually a fan of it and dont mind it at all my only concern is the battery life I expected better but let me hold off for a few days and see before I bash the battery life.. feel free to ask away if you want me to look into something specific Im still learning this phone as Im new to Cyanogen coming from Nexus I never felt the need to try custom roms etc I only rooted to tweak performance on the nexus

Beware, you'll also have the latest bugs too. I used to ride or die by nightlies back on 7 build and you do get the latest fixes but at the expense of being a beta tester. Much of your time will be spent fixing issues that weren't even issues before the nightly build install. I would go with official CM builds only and install nightlies only if it adds a feature set you covet.Impressed with the Cyanogenmod nightly builds on the OPO. It has OTA (for CM11) builtin. So you can set it up to update to the nightly builds automatically (not good) or manually (better). I do my updates nightly after the latest release from CM.
I can update straight from my OPO without a computer. The OTA software will download the nightly.....and boot into custom recovery and flash it. No data loss no hassles. Always have the latest updates/fixes straight from Cyanogenmod.
I received the very exclusive invite on Saturday evening.. at first I was excited that my wait has ended but when I was about to checkout and fulfill my order I couldn't get myself to complete the order.. at that point I realized that I am not going to enjoy the unfinished/buggy software and the haphazard support hardware from one plus as they have lost all signs of hope from me after all their lies and delays leading up to my invite.
Nevertheless.. I have let my invite expire.. good luck to everyone else taking the risk.. I think will wait to see what the new iPhone and the new Nexus models bring to the table and pick one of them.
I hear you on the nightlys. But so far the process has been very painless. I haven't had any bug issues yet. There isn't anything that doesn't work.Beware, you'll also have the latest bugs too. Well...just claimed my invite and bought the OPO. Looking forward to putting the device through its paces....
YAY CONGRATS.... and also
AGHHHHHHH!!! I've still not got one ....
All I got from the admin as a response was "patience young one" .... Don't know whether thats a positive sign or just more patronisation ........
Out of all the people who deserve invites, you are most definitely one of them. I now wonder of it has to do more with the region and member number than just the member number only...
Congrats CaleM3! Now to wait and check order status ...........like every 5 minutes!Well...just claimed my invite and bought the OPO. Looking forward to putting the device through its paces....
got hotspot and tethering....Just got my invite. I'm wondering if I should bite. Does anyone know if it has a hotspot feature similar to the jailbreak app MYWi? I need unlimited hotspot tethering and I'm not sure if android or cyanogenmod feature that.
Congrats CaleM3! Now to wait and check order status ...........like every 5 minutes!
