Got my shipment info this morning too. Looks like they are getting overwhelmed now I feel sorry for people who are just getting invites.

Yeah mine has changed to processing from pending shipment - doesn't that seem a yoda grammar like way of updating the status. Sure pending shipment sounds like it should come after processing not before ??????

Specs are impressive, and from the reviews, Android seems to fly on it. Very interesting phone...

Tell that to the thousands of low number members who still haven't received their early supporter member invite.

OPO graphs are utter bullpoo and likewise even Staff Administrators do not actually know how the invites are going out as I have a letter from one of the Admins telling me so.

LOL. Thousands?

If that is true, the forum would be flooded with threads about how they were skipped. And I only saw a few threads about being skipped, not hundreds or thousands.

https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/i-got-skipped.58429/

As you all know, we’ve been ramping up invites as Carl promised last month. I’m glad to see a lot of you are receiving devices and posting great feedback!

However, I saw a small number of early members claiming that they have slipped through the cracks and haven’t received an invite when someone behind them in member number has. Because we want devices in our fans’ hands, I personally went through over 20 of these claims case by case to find out exactly what went wrong. Here’s what I found:

1. Most of the people who claim that they have not received invites already had a pending order. This tells me that after posting, these people did in fact receive invites later. They did NOT receive an invite because they posted a complaint, but rather just because it became their turn to buy the phone.

2. The rest of the people actually did receive an invite, but didn’t redeem it. From our end, all these invites were delivered successfully. This leads me to believe that the invite ended up in the spam folder, the email server was not configured correctly, or the person just simply didn’t check his/her email.

From these two findings, I advise everyone to be patient. We are sending out invites systematically and have not skipped you! Every one of our early supporters will have a chance to purchase the device. Also, please add the *@oneplus.net domain to your email whitelist so the invite doesn’t end up in your spam folder. And most importantly, check your emails.

When this phone receives Android L it'd be even better.

I'm sure CM will release it like two or three weeks later for this phone (but may have bugs).

What is great about this phone is you can do with it whatever you want. I unlocked.....rooted and flashed a custom recovery. Made a complete image/backup of the CM11s that came on my OPO. Then flashed CM11 straight from the source. I also love that CM11 has builtin OTA update software. I can get for a CM11 nightliy.......download it. Tell it to update...it will boot to recovery and flash the update and reboot. Now i am always upto date with the latest CM11 KitKat 4.4

Yeah, i love that you can do almost anything with this phone. I'm totally new to CM but i like that you can customize virtually anything with it. Not sure if I will go with the Nightlies update or wait for the monthly OTA updates.

LOL...i actually clicked on that invite link. My first time going to that forum. All i see is posters complaining in that thread. Is that the thread you get an actual invite from? I see some saying who has invite #12546 for example but i dont see where that thread is......granted i didnt look oo hard but i thought it would be obvious.

Sure seems a whacked way to sell a phone thats for sure.

CM is pretty cool. I like the fact that if you go into developer mode you can under/over clock the CPU and change the color of the screen etc. so many freakin options.

I'm thinking maybe towards the end of the year, when this phone is more openly available, almost anyone could grab a good deal on eBay on a second handed phone.

It's still gonna be an amazing phone to buy with all those specs plus CM.

Maybe on eBay you'll find them at less than 300$.

No you dont need to go into a thread to get an invite. As soon as you become a member / poster you are automatically in the invite queue.

You can keep an eye on people giving their invite away and competitions, but no you dont need to actually ask for one.

Ah...134537. This is just an experiment. I made two posts just to see what number i was . I did see that it said that whoever got an invite will get more invites to pass out to friends and family so im sure a few here have extras.
I also saw that there are some selling them on eBay,.....what a shock!

I haven't gotten my extra invites yet. I wonder how long after the OPO is received that they send the extra invites for us to share? But I am not going to sell them.....seems kinds swarmy. I would rather give them to people.....

I have heard they are going to start rolling out share invites again based on when people ordered starting next week. No one has had any yet other than 150 people ...

By the time i get one ...IF i get one, ill be well into the Nexus 6, newer Windows phone or something that is out. Im not holding my breath. The Nexus 6 will be cheap enough and ill give my N5 to the Wife.

Once the Nexus 6 is out this Oct / Nov, the OnePlus One will be dead meat. The Nexus 6 will sell for around $349 - $399, with next gen newer hardware, will ship with Android ' L ' out of the box.

I think once the Nexus 6 is released, OpO will need to give them away for like $250, or even $199 to sell them.

you said thousands have been skipped.

look like you can't back it up and instead revert to name calling. very classy.

Early Supporters under 10,000 who got skipped: Are there any?

If there are thousands or even hundreds who got skipped, there would be a flood of threads about it on the forum. There are maybe 2-3 threads.

Nexus 6 probably will have SD805 but I just ordered a Xiaomi Mi 3 with Snapdragon 800 AB and still beats 801 phones like S5 and M8 at triple the cost. Xiaomi Mi 3 is still a better bargain than OnePlus One or Nexus phones with weaker cameras and lower battery life. And MIUI is updated every week and its optimizatioms makes it faster as time goes on. And now with KitKat right out of the box and free root.

Gosh dangit. Didnt need a new phone. Perfectly happy with my note 3 i picked up about 3 months ago.

But this morning i received an invite to get the One. So i did what any other reasonable over-indulging American would do and placed an order for a 64gb One.

Buy now, think later.

Damnit a dilemma now. Keep the One or keep the Note3. Dont have a real use to have 2 phones.

I never use the S pen so thats a moot point. But the larger the screen, the better so the Notes .2 inches screen will help.

On the other hand i love cyanogen mod and the stock android look a million times more than touchwiz.

First world problems.
