CyanogenMod who? OPO set to unveil it's own Rom.

Looks like they are going to do their own rom in house

Though people have been quite happy with the incarnation of CyanogenMod on the OnePlus One, OnePlus is ready to give folks another option with its own custom ROM called OxygenOS. Posting to its forums — as it often does — we get the teaser that this new OxygenOS software will be light, open and accessible, following the same design ideas that led to the creation of the One itself. From the post:

"We've spent a lot of time thinking about what this ROM means to us and our fans. We realized that, like everything we do, our true goal is to make the product that we ourselves would want to use—to make great technology more accessible for everyone. With our ROM, that means software that is open, customizable, and free of bloat and unnecessary features."

That doesn't give us much to go on, but we're only a couple weeks out from the given date of February 12 when we'll get the rest of the details.

For once I don't feel like I need an upgrade to Lollipop. 5.0 ruined the Nexus 5 for me, and OPO works amazing now.

I feel very similarly about my OnePlus. As it is, it's running amazingly well. It'll be interesting to see what Oxygen brings. I'm looking forward to Lollippop, but I hope this new "built from the ground up" OxygenOS doesn't ruin everything.

So I'm selling my iPhone 6, and thinking about getting this phone. I'm really not in the mood for the invite system, so I'm just going to buy one from Swappa or eBay. Has anybody else bought one through there? Is there any specific questions I should ask the sellers?

Already sold it, and honestly ddid't care for it - it was a 6+ I wanted, but can't justify spending over $1K for the 128GB version. Still have my Moto X 2013, if anything goes wrong.

Understandable...You have to pay to play! Good luck with that OPO. I wanted to like that device but just had way too many shortcomings for me. But majority likes it so...

Yay, my One shipped!! Glad to see that $14 shipping actually was Priority Mail. Should be here Tuesday for the latest.

The OPO is just to hold me down until Black Friday 2015. If Apple delivers 2GB RAM on the 6s+, I'll most likely get that...unless Motorola comes out with a Moto X Pro for here.

I've had OnePlus One sansdstone black.
Was an excellent phone, but when I saw G3 and how compact it is even with the 5,5 screen, I sold OPO and bought G3.

After 3 months I'm coming back to OPO. Simply the best software, and build quality is excellent. G3 is laggy, too laggy for my needs. OPO is a great phone, but this time around I've ordered a bamboo version.

Gonna reach me in 3-4 days I hope, looking forward seeing and feeling how the bamboo build phone feels like in hand :)

I'm tempted to order the white back plate. Too bad it's so expensive to import it.

Just got mine, and back to OnePlus One again :)

Bamboo case i pretty awesome. No need to write about OnePlus since everything is already in this thread. But Bamboo casing is the best case I've ever seen/felt. It feels premium and nice. I was afraid it would be slippery, but it isn't. It actually feels quite nice in the hands.

High recommendation to everyone looking to buy OnePlus One - buy one with bamboo casing preinstalled. Worth every cent !

I couldn't get one with it already on, but have the OPO and Bamboo case both arriving this week. Will post pics and impressions when I've had some time with it!

Sure thing. Where I'm from (croatia) its 20:31 now, so tomorrow will have at least my iPhone besides me so I can take a few pics. But those won't show you anything you haven't seen before, you have to feel the phone in your hand to understand

EDIT:
Photo Booth works just fine for now:
