Ordered. Processing time is 4 days, not bad.

Wanted an Android device so I could play around and tinker with Lollipop, and this was the most economical and logical means. I could have gone with the Nexus 9, but the reviews were less than stellar, and I have too much organized in iTunes to switch away from my iPad.

I also ordered mine on Tuesday, 12:01 AM to be exact. I'm so excited to receive mine. What model did you order?

I was debating whether or not I should instantly unlock the bootloader and root to install CM 12 alpha or whatever but I think I'll stay with CM11s for now. It'll be interesting to go back to KitKat for a while. I'm liking what I've seen in terms of features thanks to the amazing post from epicrayban. :D

Sandstone black, 64GB.

I plan to root CM 12 alpha pretty quickly.

Can I download Oxygen right now? The answer is no. Therefore it's an unfulfilled promise.

Can you download cm12? No you cant, only nightlies for sure, alphas, betas and whatever and that was already possible on the last year while nightlies were official only on this year. It has taken several months from Cyanogen to build cm12 to this point, why are you expecting that OxygenOS is done in a month?

What unfilled promise are you talking about?

You sound like you just like arguing. The original question is why download CM12 instead of waiting for Oxygen.

Answer; Because you can get early working builds of CM12 right now which people want to try. But you can't get anything for Oxygen.

Simple.

Did you read what i was asking? And what we were arguing?

I do understand that some wants to try new builds right now. But that wasnt thing i was arquing. And im not defending Oneplus, but only asking what promises they have done that they havent filled.

Only 7 days left in Feb which is the 3 month deadline when Oneplus said Lollipop would surface.

yes they (oneplus) said 3months after the final release, so if you calculate 3monts after the final build, it ended on 3.2. The final build was released on 3.11. but because they dont see to the future, some problems may occur... like communication problem with CM? however, as we all know, the official cm12 is in testing and waiting for googles approval before releasing it so it is pretty much up to google when we get it. (nightlies are already out of course) however cm12 is based on the version 502 not the real buggy source code 500 or buggy 501 release.

not defending Oneplus but if you check your phone, it says Cyanogen on the back. you didnt just bought the phone (hardware). the software belongs to Cyanogen althought you did buy the phone from Oneplus.

ok, you can complain that Oneplus said "in three months" and they have had problems in a communication with Cyanogen. but still Cyanogen is the one who make the OS. so basicly you can blame them if it is delayed.

Bummer.

Thankfully cyanogen is so good as is I don't mind the extra wait. But either way very much looking forward to lollipop. Hopper they don't miss the new deadline.

I downloaded a Lollipop theme for CM on my OPO - makes the settings menus match the rest of the OS and brings about a more cohesive feel for me. Much prefer it.

Still not a huge fan of how Google implemented lock screen notifications - but at least they're there now and this isn't a knock on CM or the OPO. I just much prefer how iOS handles notifications in general.

But as far as look - I've got my OPO where I like it now. I also went back to the Sandstone backing for the time being. It's noticeably thinner than the bamboo back in my hand which I really like and I've gotten used to the texture.

I'm hanging onto the bamboo because it's so unique - but I might just sell it after the last invite for the back has been sent.

Also, can anyone tell me how to take a screenshot? I always forget how to do so on an Android device without a physical home button.

CM12S and OxygenOS to arrive in mid to late March
http://www.androidauthority.com/cm12s-oxygenos-arriving-in-march-589370/

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei announced on Twitter that CM12S and OxygenOS will become available sometime around mid to late March.

It’s been heavily speculated that OxygenOS is meant to replace Cyanogen OS as the default ROM for OnePlus’ next smartphone. But when it comes to the One, Pei recently shed some light on how the company will handle the new OS. In a recent Reddit AMA, Pei explained that the OxygenOS update won’t be available as an OTA (over the air) update on the OnePlus One. He explains:

For the OnePlus One, it will likely not be an OTA, but rather a choice for users who want to try something new and are willing to flash it themselves.

OxygenOS will be a near stock-like build of Android, and the company says they are starting from the ground up on this one, putting only what they want in the OS, taking into consideration everything that users have been asking for.

Funny I did the same move. I am a big Android nerd too, but wanted something different, and my Jailbreak 6 Plus is a breath of fresh air, and this 6 Plus gets INSANE battery life, better than my OnePlus One which was my best Android phone ever for great battery life.

Rumors are there will for sure be a OnePlus Two, not sure if that's the name, but most likely it will be. Rumors of it being a hair smaller 5.3" or still 5.5" screen. Most say 2k display. Bigger 3,500mAh battery. Will be running Android 5.1, and the new Oxygen OS, built by the Paranoid Android team.

No release date, but the OnePlus One was officially announced in April last year, and launched for sale in May / June last year. So I would expect similar dates as to the release for the OnePlus Two.

Good info, thanks!!

Yes, really enjoying my 6+ but something about the OS on the OPO made me a big fan.

Cyanogen is really what won me over too from my iPhone 6. It's been my daily driver since and I'm not sure I can go back to iOS anymore.

Figured out the screen grab thing....here's my OPO. Lollipop theme with Stark Icons. No on-screen buttons for me.

I too am interested in the OnePlus Two. I like the 5.5" screen size, and that seems to be the only new 5.5" Android phone due out this year, until maybe the Note 5 ( which is 5.7" )

I would expect the announcement reveal for the OnePlus Two, in April or May. And released in June or July.

Word is, they will increase the price over the $349 of the OPO, most speculating it will be in the $450 to $475 range, but rumored to be a high build quality.

That would be a bummer considering the price point with what you get was one of the bigger selling points of the phone.

Still that possible new price point will be cheaper than most flagships but it makes you think twice versus the current price which is an absolute steal IMO.

$450 for a OnePlus Two, vs $700 or so, for a HTC One M9, and the OnePlus Two is supposed to share exact same, if not better specs

$450 still wouldn't be bad indeed. If the oneplus two wants to really compete this year they have to bring their A game to the camera. That's where the money should be spent. While the oneplus one camera is good, sometimes great, it's not as fast or reliable as the iPhone 6's.

In fact, everyone needs to bring their A game when it comes to cameras this year, including HTC and Samsung.
