Att still use band 4/17 or LTE. Where is att use band 2? and which phone supports it?

Pretty much every phone from the last year has supported it. All AT&T iPhones have B2 support.

I'm on B2 right now and am in rural Southern Maine.

AT&T is using band 2 everywhere where they own considerable PCS spectrum, which is pretty much across the USA. They have been slowly getting rid of HSPA carriers and have been deploying B2. The logical step is carrier aggregation of B17 and B2. Another feature that the OPO doesn't support but every other flagship from 2014 does. B2 and CA have been spotted all over the U.S. NYC, Chicago, LA, SF, Boston, etc

I've spotted B2 LTE pretty much in every Northeastern state. Maine, NH, RI, MA, CT, etc

I just got the opo yesterday. I do have to say hardware wise, it's a nice looking phone. So far the os has been stable and no complaints on that side of things. I like the fact that it's a 5.5 screen that's smaller then my 6+. Not a huge difference but enough.

The speakers are definitely not bad at all. I can say it's better then my note 4:eek: It's not better then the 6+, but it's not bad. I have no complaints there either. Everything has been smooth and fast. Love the double tap feature. The battery life so far has been great. It's only been my first day but unplugged at 10:30....played a game for 20 mins......few emails, few text, and at the time of this post, it's at 80%. Definitely get you through the day.

The screen is great....battery life is great.....OS is android with a light skin over it....the camera is ok......it's fast.......it's going to get L.......speakers are great.....hardware is great......packaging was great as well:)

I'm more impressed with this phone then my note 4. The only thing the note 4 has over this phone is the spen, camera, and screen. If you do the math.....$800 phone compared to this $350 phone....that's insane. So for $450, you get a better cam, spen, and screen. If it's worth it to you....by any means go for it. Definitely not worth it for me and the note 4 is going back.

Having owned both, I see your reasoning but the Note 4 has more than you mention. Bang for buck, the OPO is pretty unbeatable. An excellent buy for anyone looking for a fast phone that is good in most areas. I'd say it offers 80-90% of a Note 4 (for average users) for less than half the price - a compelling proposition.

However, I've kept my Note 4 for the SPen, camera, screen, support (often ignored in these comparisons) battery life and removable battery, SD card, dual SIM, and the unmatched multi tasking.

Granted I've disabled some things to streamline performance. Maybe my carrier free version but it's lightning quick - genuinely no notable lag (comparing to OPO and 6+). Having ran them side by side for 2 months, the Note 4 won out - I make use of the things I've mentioned on a daily basis and the OPO just doesn't offer these so I'm happy to pay the premium. My use case is fulfilled entirely by the Note but only mostly by the OPO.

If the OPO suits your needs, and you can look past the after sales support, it's a steal for the price. If it doesn't suffer a hardware fault you'll be very happy - early Lollipop builds were excellent (although stock is a little too bare for my taste). My wife was the beneficiary of my OPO and she loves it.

I spotted one in the office yesterday. A colleaque of mine got one on invitation, and I have to admit I really liked it. Besides a Nexus, definitely an Android phone I would consider owning. The build quality felt great as well and I love the material on the back.

do you want mine? It is only good for 24 hours.

Is it good for 24 hours from the moment you got the invite (meaning it'll expire later today/tomorrow), or when the invite is activated? Meaning, I could take your invite, but wait til later this week to buy it?

I really want a good flagship Android phone for a solid price unlocked. The Xperia Z3 is a front runner, but it's just too expensive unlocked. The OnePlus is my second option... but I'm not 100% on it.

If the 24 hour expiration date is the latter, in which it'll expire in 24 hours only after I activate it, I will happily take it from you, kind sir!

it just says, "I have 24 hours to claim the invite as mine". I am not really sure if that means it has to be purchased within 24 hours or not.

I just pmed you the direct link. Give it a go :). pme back if the link does not work. It was really weird once I copied it from my email.

Thanks again! It looks like it's 24 hours after you activate it.

"Once you claim this invite a unit will be reserved for you for 1 day(s)."

I'll think about it, but I'm most likely going to do it! What phone are you rocking?

Actually, now I'm not sure. I think it might expire even before you "claim it".

Confusing... gotta decide quickly...

Just claim it. I think maybe once you claim it you have a few days to purchase it. You just have to claim it within 24 hours.

This device is amazing so far!

Really love the packaging. Felt very high end. And the hardware of the device is great. Size isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Gorgeous screen. Good speakers. The back feels fanatic.

I also love what cyanogen has done with Android. They added really useful and no brainer features that Google should really implement.

Loving it so far. Thanks again mattopotamus.

Yep sone of the most basic features cyanogen add should be baked into lollipop as standard.

Battery percentage indicator, ability to choose different home screen and lock screen wallpapers, more choices instead of just power off with the power button.

It's surprising that these most basic of elements, ones with would not detract from stock android purity are still missing.

Hey ho. Enjoy your new phone anyway :)

Is it weird that I do not like to see my battery percent? 1) I think it looks more "clean" and 2) It makes me OCD when I can see the percent left =/

I am actually the other way around lol - Moto G doesn't show % apart from inside the notification and when I look at the icon I sometimes think "shiiiiiii*****" but when you check the %, it is still at 40 odd or something :)

I'd rather have the icon in the status bar show me how much time left (like on Macs) rather than battery percentage lol

Even without Lollipop, this device is fast, smooth, and stable. I'm glad all those things I've read/heard about Cyanogen being really unstable doesn't seem to be true.

This is really how Android should be. I've customized it just the way I like it, and the device is now a joy to use.

Also, now that I've had it for a few days, I can report that the battery life on this thing is phenomenal. I am easily getting 2+ hours of SOT and the battery percentage is still in the 50-60% range. It's nuts. It's such a nice feeling to not be worried about the battery life. I don't ever plug it in at work anymore. I know it'll last the work day and then some. Go big phones and big batteries!

The camera, so far, seems fine. I love the UI and the many different shooting modes. However, I do wish "Auto" was as reliable as my iPhone 6's regular mode. Auto doesn't seem to be as quick and reliable as the iPhone 6's quick focus feature. Pictures don't come out as clear on the OnePlus. I guess shots will just require a little more manual input, because when I do switch modes to the proper one, photos come out nicely. Whereas on my iPhone 6, I never had to worry about it -- auto mode would just give me a great picture.

Anyway, I can't praise this phone enough. I'm really enjoying it, and can see myself selling the iPhone 6 soon. The extra features on Android really make the phone fun and easy to use. I feel I can get information, accomplish tasks, make phone calls, and just generally do anything... much faster on the Android than on my iPhone. Android actually doesn't seem slow or glitchy at all. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for iOS and the iPhone. I find things crashing and hanging up more on the iPhone 6 in the past few months I've been using it. (Ditto for my iPad Air, which is why in the other thread, I'm looking into the Nexus 9...)

And the fact that this device is $350 unlocked just makes the whole thing sweeter. I was really close to getting an Xperia Z3 unlocked, but that would have been double the cost! It's a shame the invite system was such a hack, because this device could have truly done well!

That would just scare the hell out of people. It would show 30 minutes left if you were watching a movie, and then jump to 10 hours left once you were surfing the web.
