Oh! My phone is starting to ship out!
Ordered: June 23
Shipped: June 25
Arrived: ??

I don't think I could ever see myself getting a OP 3. Can't support that company.

Yeah, I'm not so sure about their customer service. My overall experience hasn't been great; I shouldn't have to wonder what on earth is happening and wonder if I'll ever get the phone.

But I think the 1+ is worth it. The company isn't THAT bad.

I'll see how the phone is for myself shortly; maybe even as soon as Monday!

Yeah it really is a nice phone. The build is very nice and the overall fit and finish is right up there with my iphone for sure.
The phone is very fast and smooth as silk. I love the physical mute button. I think every phone should have it.

Ram management has not been an issue so far for my uses. I don't go back more than 3 or 4 anyway.

Does it not come with a full TPU screen protector already installed ?

It only covers the screen unfortunately, not the surrounding area :(
[doublepost=1467052071][/doublepost]And my OnePlus 3 (ordered on 15/06/2016, UK), still has not been shipped. At least I've been refunded the £5.99 for the priority shipping...

the physical mute button is something I wish all Android OEMs put on their phones. So handy on my iPhone. I almost ordered the OP3 just because of it ;)

After some confusion with a service rep who told me that the phone was not shipping with UPS despite my email and tracking number telling me it was shipping with UPS... which by the way, it WAS indeed with UPS but the service rep misunderstood something on their end... I have been informed that my phone has been given to UPS and the rest is in their hands.

I ordered it on Thursday, the 24th and despite having been told that my phone was shipping, UPS says that the phone had yet to be received.

But, to be fair, it was a weekend so I guess I was just being impatient!
All said and done, tomorrow UPS should update their information and I will be able to track my package for real this time :) I can't wait!

So my thoughts on the OPO3 after the weekend with it.

Initial impressions are of a top of the line flagship smartphone. The build quality is right up there with the HTC 10 and Nexus 6P and my iphone 6s+. All of them metal phones.
It is a very thin light phone that feels great in the hand. It just feels like a premium device. OPO did a very good job on the design and fit and finish. Impressed so far.

Oxygen OS
The stock OS is some what stock but needs a little work in my opinion. But it seems to be headed in the right direction.
No bloat or pre installed software from OPO was installed. Very nice OPO!
The screen is awesome. No problems that some others have reported. It is bright and clear and colors seems to be right on track with my other phones.

The sound is great right on track with the Note 5 and S7 edge. But not quite as loud as the 6P or as clear as the HTC 10.

The FP scanner is very accurate and is fixed like the one on the HTC 10. No button to push down.
The beautiful thing about Android is the customizations. You can choose to have on screen buttons for home, back and recents. Or use the buttons on the right and left of the FP scanner. The buttons light up very discreetly but do not have symbols. Just light so you can switch them in any order you wish.

They also have gestures like the previous models. You can draw a V for the flashlight or O for the camera with the screen off. And of course double tap to wake and sleep.

The camera is on par with the 6P but not quite up there with the S7 edge or N5 or HTC 10 but equal to my 6s+ inho.

It doesn't have a SD Card but comes with 64GB of storage. That is plenty of space for me so far.

Battery life has been a pleasant surprise. I read some reviews that they only got 3.5 to 4 hours SOT

But I have been getting 5 hours SOT on average. This on a mixture of wifi LTE. The true test was at work today where there is no public wifi and cell reception on TMO is not so great in my building. Today i will get 5 hours SOT!
I was worried OPO made the OPO3 too thin. That they should have installed a larger battery and made the device a little thicker. But so far I am impressed with the battery life. I have my display set to manual and about 40 percent on the slider.
I love the physical mute button. It has 3 settings. First position is all sound is on....slide it a little more and on notifications from priority apps and or people will come through. Slide it all the way up and no sound at all.
I wish all phones had a physical mute button.

Overall I am very impressed with the OPO3...third time's a charm for OPO. this is their best phone yet imo.

I know the company is a little brash and full of themselves. Their CEO is arrogant. But the phone is awesome especially considering it is only $400!

The OPO3 is going to replace my 6P as my tinker and rom phone.

Any opinions vs the M10 jamezr? Particularly the camera.

At the moment the M10 seems around 50% more than OP3 but I may be in Asia in a month or two where the M10 is a good deal less.

I like larger phones and love the larger 5.5 display on the OPO3 than the smaller M10. I am not a fan of Sense and prefer the stock look of CM13 instead. Personally I would rate the OPO3 camera a little better but not by much. The M10 has better sound though. But the OPO has better battery life in my experiences. They both have the same build quality but the OPO3 is lighter.
They are both great phones and can't go wrong with either one.

Any issues with notifications coming in when the phone goes into deep Doze and isn't charging? This is the only thing stopping me from picking one up right now.

I flashed CM13 on it. I get all my notifications on my lockscreen in an active display. So it lights up the display with the notification. I haven't noticed it not getting notifications after a long period of inactivity.

I am on OxygenOS 3.1.2, no issues with notifications at all.
But I have read some people do have problems, so I would get one, as you can return it within 2 weeks.

On my OPO3 i am getting a consistant 5 hours SOT every day. On my S7 edge i get 6 or more hours SOT easily. My 6s+ is battery king of all my phones i have right now and can almost get 2 days on a charge.
