What did you gain by flashing CM13 vs OxygenOS? I am surprised they are that different. Did you lose features like in the native camera app?
I am just not a fan of the oxygen OS skin to be honest. I love CyanogenMod. To me it offers stock like experience but with a nice set of features and customizations. I wish I had the option of getting CM on all my Android phones. The download of CM is like 400MBs. Then you have to install GAPPS but you can choose what GAPPS package you want from full (600MBs to 200MBs) or a slim version without some Google apps you may not want.

I think the native camera app in CM offers enough options for me anyway.....

The OPO phones are pretty much meant to run CM13, they gel so well together. OnePlus CM ROM's come out before the phone is actually released to the public for the OnePlus line. No other phone gets that good of ROM release / support, except maybe a Nexus.

I'm tempted by this as CM13 will fix the ram issue too without having to wait for OP to push out an update (the reviewer update whilst improved still doesn't fully utilise the ram).

With Cyanogen do you get OTA updates or do you have to keep flashing everytime an update is released ?

When the officially CM13 nightlys come out then you can update OTA. But until then you have to reflash. I am on the CM13 from a week ago with the June security update. I am not missing anything feature set wise. The nightlys just address bug fixes.

Thanks. I'm keeping an eye on our classified sites for one to land and then will pick on up (if it's at the right price). :)

Anandtech revisited the OP3 with the sRGB mode.

http://www.anandtech.com/show/10445/revisiting-the-oneplus-3

The display has gone from being the most inaccurate display that I've seen in years, to being among the most accurate displays that we have on record.

...with this update the OnePlus 3 has become my daily Android device, as I had originally hoped it would before the display accuracy disappointed me. OnePlus has addressed the only issue about the phone that I felt truly hampered my enjoyment of it.

I knew they would change their review and stance on the OPO3 after the correct calibration update was out. The OPO3 really is a smooth as butter. It is going to be a keeper for a while for me.

lol...yeah rub it in ;)

Nah, I just have too many damn smartphones at the moment. :)

The new Nexus, iPhone (not really sure I'll bother), Axon, Note 6, Moto G4 Plus so and so forth that I want to look at.

And I keep eyeing the M2 TaylorMade irons at the golf shop. My friend has them and I can clobber the ball with those. :)

Think I'll pull the trigger. Reviews seem favourable and the sRGB update is a good move.

Hopefully Oxygen gets updated quicker than it has done historically but, if not, there are other options.

Just remember the SRGB & Ram update isn't available to normal users at moment, it was only pushed to review units.

I'm still waiting to see if either I can get one cheap or for the White/gold version to be released.
