Hmmm also in two minds. The main sticking points are the battery (ok but not great) and software updates are slow (worse thsn Samsung slow).

Also the price is more than i expected. OPO was £229; OP2 was £269; OP3 is £309.

I've just re bought a G5 for £250. There seem to be plenty of unwanted G5s going for crazy good value. Sure I'd prefer real metal and wont ever buy any Friends, but with comparative SoT, an outstanding camera, and quick software updates, I'm less itchy to pull the trigger on this.

I'm ordering one, but it's on AT&T so I know I won't have wi-fi calling. Which I have never used on my iPhone. I completely understand that being an issue for someone who would need it, though. I'll save so much money switching to this from my iPhone instead of getting an S7 edge. The extra $400 bones in my pocket are extra nice.

Agreed.

Wifi calling is a must, not matter the phone or carrier for me. I work in a basement devoid of any cell signal.

Unfortunately, the camera isn't as great as I had expected. Besides that, I think the phone is great.

Hmm Android Authority cite the camera as OK but not great whereas Marques and The Verge liked it more.

AA also got 3 hours SoT. I know it depends on usage but that sounds poor. I think they flunked by not going thicker and 3,500+ battery.

I agree....I watched MBKHD review and he liked the phone overall. But he wondered why they would make it thinner and lose battery and have a protruding camera bump. The pervious models did not have a camera bump

edit: It seems that I've been fooled by watching too many American reviewers. It works out nearly perfectly; $399 USD -> $519.82 ~ $520 CAD

In comparison, the Nexus 6P (if you can use that as a standard) is $699 CAD.

I will be most content with the 1+ 3 on that basis. Now I just gotta wait for my next paycheck! I am short nearly $100 once you factor in taxes. :( :( :(

I can hardly wait D:

My god, the reviews are actually excellent. And you cannot ignore that price.

I understand the deal breakers (like concerns about updates) but this seems like an amazing device. It's just good at nearly everything.

The good reviews and a weird obsession to try something new got me to order one. I figure if I hate it I can send it back and go back to using my iPhone 5S until the 7 comes out. Maybe I'll end up loving it, it'll be great to have a notification light again (one thing I miss every single day after switching away from Blackberry for good). I have not read many good things about their update track record, but it can't be any worse than my HTC experiences.

I'm on an impulse buying kind of week with an old black Macbook and a new phone.

For me, the deal breaker is battery life. I know 4-5 hours of SoT is great, but I can get that amount with smaller S7.
S7 edge has made every phablet with less than 6 hours battery life seems bad.

Other than that, great phone for the price.

Anyone with T-Mobile order it? If so, once you get it, can you test wifi calling? I'd appreciate it. No one knows the answer, and the company didn't answer it in thr Reddit AMA.

That's my deal breaker. I still have and love my original OPO, use as my backup phone, I'm running the latest CM13 this two year old phone still kicks butt.

The One has a 3,100mAh battery, the Two has a 3,300mAh battery, was hoping the Three would have a 3,500mAh battery, if it did, I would've bought it the minute it went on sale. But with a smaller 3,000mAh battery this phone just doesn't garner my attention anymore, I'm very let down.

Still a great phone at the price. I'd rather find a deal on a Nexus 6P for like $425 brand new, at least it will get official updates right away, and not take 6+ months like OPO.

Battery is a little ?? As many are reporting around 3 hours or just over SOT. Others saying they get 4 .... Seems a bit meh, but I guess with fast charge you can quickly top up.

But like many here, seems to me they should have stuck to their guns and made the device a little thicker, had a flush camera module and scored a 3500 or 4000 mah battery. Especially as Oxygen OS is definitely less optimised for battery than Touchwiz or Sense. I'm getting tired of the drive to ever thinner obsession at this stage.

OnePlus is really upping their game. Would seriously consider them, if I wasn't such an Apple fan.

Best Buy has the 6p on sale now, base model at your price.
