Not so sure about this, especially when Schmidt testified before congess stating that Google is worried about Siri. Something to the effect that Siri is so advanced that it can pull information from multiple sources quickly and efficiently and leave ads out of the equation.Android caught up is a fact and iOS is what is behind. I can prove it if you'd like.
Shortly after Siri came out Samesung made claim that they are working on the same thing but calling it Iris. Android lacks this feature
IOS5 added iMessage, which negates the need for cell service providers to be involved, taking cues from Blackberry. Instantaneous messaging for free, without the need for some 3rd party developer. Android lacks this feature.
The notification system is similar to Android, or a rip off of it, but imo is smoother on the iPhone.
So not sure how iOS would be considered behind Android? Obviously iPhone has more apps, more quality apps and games (ever wonder why Google limits the size of your apps?), better GPU in the iPhone for developers to utilize for better apps and games, iOS receives updates as soon as apple releases them and now even that is OTA... So not sure how you can make that claim?
