How can I make this work on my 5s? It's like everyone is typing chinese here lol. I just want to see missed call, received sms, mute icon and received gmail icon on LS and SB. Would really appreciate if anyone could help me with correctly installing this :)

Download the package from the first page. Change extension from zip to deb. Open ifile and find the package, tap on it and click installer. It will install it for you (or as I assume so)

You can install ifile from cydia

Really great! I'm excited to see this being revived for iOS 7. However, the icons will probably need to be updated. Haha. Anyway, it would be fine as long as they appear properly. Just a heads up that they're still not appearing in safari and a few other apps.

That's a bug with libstatusbar, not the tweak itself

yes, it should work on your iphone 5.

i believe you would download the file named "com.n00neimp0rtant.opennotifier_2.0~beta2-2_iphoneos-arm.deb.zip", rename it so the extension is .deb (so basically, delete .zip).

In iFile, tap the file and click installer. and respring afterwards (it should tell you error code 0) and the tweak should be installed and running on your device

Anyone have any idea as to why i'm still getting the "There was an error loading the preference bundle for opennotifier" ? I tried installing the deb on the first page with ifile, but, i still get that error.

Do you have PreferenceLoader v2.2.2 or greater installed? You also need AppList, I have v1.5.7

A corrupt or missing file in /Library/PreferenceBundles/OpenNotifier.bundle/ ?
If I delete Info.plist in that folder, I get the same error as you. I would uninstall, delete the above folder and also /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.n00neimp0rtant.opennotifier.plist, then reinstall

Thanks working perfect!

Now it's not even wanting to install. lol. I keep getting "finished with result code: 256" >_< I'm about to give up for the night.

That generally means you are missing a dependency. You already checked applist and preferenceloader, how about libstatusbar v0.9.7?

If I could get a temp repo set up, I think it would help with forcing dependencies to be installed. I just never really planned to release this. I was hoping the developer would get back to me and put out an official release.

Yep, all three are installed. I even tried restoring my phone, Only installing ifile to install the deb + dependencies to see if that worked, and it was a no go. N00neimp0rtant has the same beta on his repo, and it installs, but I get the first error that I had. Just to double check, Do I need to do anything with the first zip in the first post? I can't figure out why i'm having such a hard time with this. lol.

No, the first zip is the source code modifications I made to compile for iOS7.

I just don't know. Sorry. I do know that the one on his repo does not work with iOS7 or arm64 devices such as the 5s.

Ah, okay. Just wanted to make sure i didn't miss anything. Anyways, Thanks for your help. I appreciate it :)

Sure, no problem. I wish it had actually been "help," though.

That's not something I would have thought of, but yes, the file attached here is a zip file and has to be unzipped first.

I added a few instructions above the download link, hopefully that helps clear things up.

I was going by what darricksailo said by changing the extension. Glad it's figured out now.

i apologize, i have never developed or compiled any kind of iOS tweak so i assumed it was compiled as a .zip file and all that was needed was to change the extension to .deb

i didn't install the tweak either so i didn't know of the error
