iPhone OpenNotifier iOS7 and iOS8: Unofficial Version

I was able to add any icon from openNotifier premium pack without any extra modding using just tateu's file.
Maybe I am not doing something right but every time I try to install a theme pack it wants me to uninstall the fixed version of open notifier and install the non working version. What do I need to get the theme packs installed?
I had used the version that tateu had uploaded before he made the name change. That's probably the reason why.
I heard from one other user that has this problem too. We didn't figure it out. What icon are you trying to use? Is it one of the default ones or are you using one from a 3rd party pack that you installed?it can not show in the lock screen,just see it in the home screen,why?
Do you have SameStatus installed?
I tried renaming my version of OpenNotifier to make it completely separate from the version by the original developer. I hadn't used any icon packs and did not realize that they are tied to the bundle name of the official version. I just uploaded v2.0~beta2-5 which reverts back to the original bundle identifier which will make it compatible with third party icon packs...
but...If you install this new version, all of your icon settings preferences will be gone.
You can fix this manually.
1) Install v2.0~beta2-5 through Cydia
2) In iFile or via SFTP or via a desktop application such as iFunbox or iTools, browse to /var/mobile/Library/Preferences
3) If the file, com.n00neimp0rtant.opennotifier.plist, exists rename it to com.n00neimp0rtant.opennotifier.plist.backup
4) Rename the file net.tateu.opennotifier.plist to com.n00neimp0rtant.opennotifier.plist
5) Respring

I JUST DOWNLOAD THE ICONS FROM MODMYI SOURCES,AND IT IS NOT ALL ICONS CAN;T SHOW,EMAIL & iMESSAGES ICONS CAN SHOW IT,BUT WHATSAPP AND LINE ICONS CAN'T SHOW IN THE LOCK SCREEN!
I HAVE NOT installed SameStatus,SO I NEED TO INSTALL IT TO FIX THIS PROBLEM?

Ok, so those old icons from modmyi are not updated to work with iOS7. You have two choices:
1) Install SameStatus. This will shrink your LockSCreen statusbar and make it the same as the home screen statusbar
or
2) You can manually create iOS 7 lockscreen versions of the icons. The icons are located in /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/. You need to find all of the icons in that folder that do not work on the lockscreen. Each one should have files named Black_ON_Name.png and Black_ON_Name@2x.png. You need to make duplicates of those 2 files for every icon that does not work and rename the duplicates to Lockscreen_ON_Envelope.png and Lockscreen_ON_Envelope@2x.png.
Personally, I would go with the SameStatus option. I hate the fact that the lockscreen statusbar is larger than the home screen one and can't imagine what designer at Apple though that was a good idea.

There is an entire section in Cydia dedicated to them. Go to Sections -> Addons (OpenNotifier). Some of them won't be fully compatible, though, especially on the Lockscreen if you don't have SameStatus installed (look at my post #109 a few above this one).
Do other icons from that pack work? Did you repsring after installing? Without a respring, the icons show up in the Settings app but they do not show up in the statusbar.
Does it work on the home screen but not the lockscreen? If yes, look at my post #109 a few above this one.
Good job tateu! I have OpenNotifier running along with the Color Icon Pack. Settings got hosed up somewhere along the way but nothing iFile couldn't help with. My icons show fine in the lock screen even without SameStatus installed. I do have TinyBar so that may be the difference.
It's a shame the original developer isn't supporting this excellent tweak. It's one I would pay for. Thank you for building it for your own use and sharing with us.

Neither of them are really mine, just modifications I did to other developers open source projects, but thanks.thx for your great repo, i'm in love with your clear badge and speedscrolling tweak
No, I have no plans to change the icons that already exist. You can do that yourself.
