I actually just finished setting up my own repo, literally 2 seconds before I received an email from MacRumors telling me about your new post.

One thing I did for my repo, is recompile OpenNotifier to change all of the bundle names from "com.n00neimp0rtant.opennotifier" to "net.tateu.opennotifier" and change the name of the package from "OpenNotifier" to "OpenNotifier - tateu." I thought that this would help make it clear that this is an unofficial package and not associated with the original developer.
What do you or anyone else think about those changes?
Once I nail down how to handle this, sure, go ahead and add it to your repo, too.
A little off topic but if you open my repo again and look at the info page for user agent faker you'll see some updated information about it that I just added. Or, you can just click here and see the same info: http://www.tateu.net/repo/html/uafaker.htmAny trick to getting the user agent faker app to work on your repo? Chrome still loads everything in mobile view![]()
I don't know. Why don't you put on your best guinea pig suit and let us know?does this work on7.1 beta 3?
As noted in the first post of this thread, that is a known issue with the back end library, libstatusbar. I actually just compiled a modified version of libstatusbar, though, and have it fully working in all app store apps, all stock Apple apps and almost all Cydia apps. I sent my changes via email to the libstatusbar dev. Hopefully he will look into it.Would there be any chance of the icons staying in the status hud when using other apps like Safari? The icons seem to disappear for me. Thanks for all the hard work![]()

Unfortunately I only have 7.0.4 and no spare devices to play with beta OS versions on. It could be a really simple fix, or it could be something complicated.Tried but it doesn't work sadly.
This is great! Thank you for moving this project forward.
Is there a way to install the icon packs from Cydia without it wanting to uninstall your version and install the broken version?
Thanks again!

Well, this was never supposed to really exist or be released as something I provided support for. I updated it for iOS7, arm64 for my own use and forwarded my changes over to the developer so it would hopefully be officially updated. I never heard back from the dev (and speaking of that, my track record with successfully contacting devs through Cydia is not that good) and here we are now.
Normally, when you modify someone else's open source package, you fork it and give it a new name but I didn't think of the issue people are having with icon packs. These icon packs explicitly depend on the bundle identifier being com.n00neimp0rtant.opennotifier. I'm starting to get several emails through Cydia about this and I really don't want to have to continuously respond to them.
I hate to keep switching things up on you guys but I think it might be best if I change the bundle identifier back to com.n00neimp0rtant.opennotifier. I think I can still keep the name change as "OpenNotifier - tateu," though, so atleast it still looks like a modified package that is not by the original dev.
