FYI there is a new open notifier icon pack on cydia today. Check it out. Supports iOS 7 and dev says he'll be updating regularly.

Are all the icon packages up on cydia saying "... for OpenNotifier" works or not updated yet? Thanks
it my experience, some work and some don't work. I'm not sure all have been updated for iOS 7. some didn't need updating, so do it seems. Again, this is just based on what I've experienced. I could be completely wrong.
I do know that the package I referenced above was new and advertised as working for iOS 7 with timely updates coming from the dev. We'll see!
Thank you! I'll try the stock pkg.
I hope this will be totally fixed so it would work on all aspects even with appstore apps.and btw did some modding to it so now i got more icons to choose from....Heres another preview...
No reply from the libstatusbar dev to four separate emails sent since Feb. 10. I think my track record with succesfully contacting Cydia devs is running below 50% and is definitely well below 50% if you count multiple emails to the same dev.

That is an error made by the developer of the "Stock for OpenNotifier" package. A Cydia package cannot overwrite files that are part of other packages, the original files have to be moved first with a preinst command file. You have to wait for the dev to fix it or, if you're competence level with manually moving files around is decent, you can probably fix it yourself by renaming the files listed in the error message to "*.png.bak".Can't get rid of this error with stock for opennotifier 1.4
You're right, it doesn't work so there is nothing you can do with it as a Cydia install until that dev fixes it.Thing is I already deleted the mentioned file (also had it renamed first but no effect).
You can't "find" it. OpenNotifier is the package that uses these icons. Without OpenNotifier, these icons are worthless.Where can I find com.n00neimportant.opennotifier?
Does anyone with a tethering plan want to try the new version that can replace the blue status bar with an icon and let me know how it works? I don't have a tethering plan.
Manually install the new version via iFile or SSH, then go into Settings -> OpenNotifier and enable the tethering icon, then turn on tethering. Your status bar should not turn blue and should have a new icon. You can also try turning things on and off in a different order.
Turn on OpenNotifier -> Tethering Icon
Turn on Tethering
Turn off OpenNotifier -> Tethering Icon
Turn on Tethering
Turn on OpenNotifier -> Tethering Icon
