Other Order Placed! Did You Get What You Want?

I pre-registered two days ago, 14 Pro Max, Gold, 128gb. At 0700 CDT the store was down. I just left the app open and at 0708 it popped up. Everything was ready to go and I confirmed my payment method and boom! Done. I received a confirmation email a few minutes later with a delivery date of Sep 16th. Fortunately (?) we’re going on vacation next week so I won’t be thinking about it as often, I’ll have a neighbor watch for the package and pick it up for me.

Then the fun starts. Setting my new one up, transferring my wife’s old 7 over to my iPhone 13, wiping her’s for trade in. Eeek.
 
I’d say this is the worst order process ever. Like many have said many attempts needed to get the sale done. I’m my area no SG max available until end of sept due to the issues. Thx apple!

I waffled on it for a while but finally ordered a 14 PM in Purple, 256GB. I'm down to about 20GB on this 128GB 12 (about 50GB is lossless music) so I knew I couldn't do 128 again.

Given the price I may try to go three years on this phone. $1200 every 2 years just isn't pleasing.
 
I survived the T-Mobile Hell and ultimately was able to get a Deep Purple Pro 256gb that says launch day delivery.

45 minutes after launch started, I woke up and figured what the hell. I went out to my computer where I had a phone pre-pre-ordered but the store wouldn't load, said "OOPS". No big, i just zipped through the configuration process and got a purple 14 Pro 256 on AT&T, set to deliver on 9/16. Went back to bed.

I was all deep purple until I actually went through the order process and landed on gold. I just don’t think that I can hang with a purple phone for the next year or two. I didn’t go silver because I don’t like having to do maintenance with the micro scratch prone sides. Black is black and nothing interesting about it. So through the process of elimination I just got gold. I had Sierra blue last year
 
Yes 1TB Deep Purple 14 Pro Max, pickup first thing in the morning Sep, 16th.

I got what I wanted Deep Purple 14 Pro Max 256GB, BUT I’m missing launch day delivery.

Had the 16th, but shifted to the 23rd with Postal Delivery upon confirmation.

Did local pickup on the 17th since delivery was already pushed out to Oct. I did the Pro 1TB in black. Waffled a bit on storage size, but it's not much more per month with Apple financing. I've already hit the max on my 256GB, only upgrade every 4-5 years, and noticed that some of the ProRes footage can take a ton of space.

After a bit of stress of declined payments, yes. 14 Pro, Silver 256GB.
I still wonder if I should have gone Pro Max
 
At 1pm CST, I pre-ordered my iPhone 14 Pro Max 512GB in Space Black on AT&T at Best Buy. "Estimated" to be "Ready to Pickup" on Sept 16th. If you want to get 512GB or 1TB at Best Buy, you have to pre-order in the store.
