Ordered May 9....still "Not Yet Shipped" status

Hmmm. My status hasn't changed since last night.
Still "In Transit" in Anchorage. (I didn't realize how wide that city is or how slow FedEx sled dogs are.)
I don't see any customs acceptance line either.
same thing here still. My best friend lives in Anchorage and works a the airport, I told her to go over and find mine and send it UPS instead lol. Hope they move soon!
I see FedEx isn't operating in/out of Thailand now, I am wondering if that has thrown a kink in everything?? Doesn't seem like it would but you never know they might be rerouting stuff and it's effecting everything thus the "delay beyond our control" messages.
+1 - Mine got to the Lantau location at the same 11:30 local time. Hope a big grip of them get headed state-side soon!

Mine's in Lantau as well. Hopefully these make it state-side in time for a delivery this weekend. When I ordered on the 9th, my delivery window was the 18th-22nd, but it changed to the 25th after it shipped. Not seeing any estimated delivery date now.
just got off the phone with fedex and the lady told me my package is stateside and will be shipped no later than the original may 20th @4:30pm. my package still says its in lantau island though, so i guess there's hope for all of you with inaccurate tracking.
Just checked and I'm in Alaska! Got no "In Transit" between Lantau and there though, the other three folks with the same arrival time have probably been moved across as well.
I guess it's possible the tracking system just posted the "Arrived" and "In transit" for Lantau in the wrong order...

So about 30 minutes after I posted it was scanned in AK and seems as if it will definitely make an overnight flight to Houston and end up in my hands by 4:30pm tomorrow. The next 24 hours are going to be tough.
I ordered mine on the 10th too but mine is about 8 hours ahead of yours in the FedEx system. Yours still needs to clear customs... that took 18 hours for mine! I'm wondering if mine will get here by Friday... I hope I am wrong but yours seems like it is a day behind me.
checked up on mine for the hell of it, finally got "international shipment release'd". however the date keeps getting modified first was the 20th, 21st, 25th and now the 28th ... shouldnt take that long to get to Phx. I dont think itd have to go to the TN depot to come back here .

I hope you are Looking at everyones tracking info, both on this site and others it looks like a majority of the packages took about 1 hour and 9 min to be released from customs. I don't care if Fedex has to charter a plain just for me I will get that iPad!!!! I have a business conference and my flight leaves on Saturday and I "need" this to take notes. Plus, Apple promised a delivery date of today. If it does not come by Friday I will have to wait to play I mean take notes with it when I get back on the 29th

I know. But the thing is, Apple sent these Economy. A guy with a backpack and a flat back tire on his Cannondale would get it to you faster than FedEx.
true, however i made mention of ordering two refurb ipod touches for family last week after i ordered my iPad, on a sunday and it shipped the same way to them economy and got there by wednesday of last week.
So not sure whats the difference in the way they got there quicker as opposed to these ipads
Got my "Int'l shipment release" update from Anchorage... estimated delivery date is still 5/25.
Should that 5/25 date be pretty solid? I don't think I've ever ordered anything from Apple that didn't ship from the US.
