Ordered May 9....still "Not Yet Shipped" status

If, and its a strong if, We see them move today, i think there is a good chance we will see them for Friday, I just checked the time over there and its only about 10pm, so there is still a chance these things move sometime today, I HOPE....lol

Good point, although I won't be visiting it anymore soon then :(

Its says that it's on the FedEx vehicle out for delivery as of 8:15 AM, so far nothing yet.
 
I'd prefer it be titled the FedEx sucks thread. Because honestly I ordered two other things in the past month that came out of china, but both came UPS. They got here with 48 hours. I can't get over how SLOW FedEx is. I wish I had an option to choose another carrier when I ordered from Apple.
 
Snore... No FedEx guy at the door yet... I am going to be so happy when it comes JUST because I won't think about where the package is and when it might come.

The funny thing is, that most people on here have in the past ordered an Apple product that has come straight from China via FedEx.....but I dont think anyone has had to wait this long for the shipment to arrive.

I have never seen a package delayed in one facility for over 24hours.....that seems almost standard here.... FedEx definitely has something wrong here...

I am an obsessive tracker over everything. Stems from having packages delivered wrongly before. Also I'm an aviation/logistical person by trade so I like to do geek things like track my FedEx flight from ANC-MEM lol :cool: Then know the flight has landed for about 2 hours before the package is actually scanned in.

I'm assuming yours updated to "out for delivery?" One day I had 2 packages coming, the 2nd was scanned about 20 min after the first was scanned as out for delivery and didn't make it that day--I was so bummed!
 
My FedEx tracking says it will be here on the 25th. My "delivery window" that they quoted when I placed the order said the 18th-24th.

I will be contacting Apple and complaining if this doesn't arrive by the 24th.

When did you order?

I ordered the 10th, was told the 18th-22nd. FedEx says it'll be here the 25th. I've thought about complaining if that happens...but really the hang ups appear to be on FedEx's end not Apple's. Plus it isn't like I paid shipping and could ask for a refund on that or anything.

Well, my iPad is still hanging in Hong Kong enjoying its 72 hour stay-cation. Over three days in one facility? That's unacceptable. I'm beginning to wonder if it fell behind a crate of rice or something. My estimated delivery date is still 20 May by 4:30....but I don't see that happening.

That isn't acceptable at all. Tomorrow at 4:31 I'd be on the phone to FedEx then Apple about that!
 
hm i checked in on the tracking status of mine, originally it said arrival of 5/20, now it states Estimated arrival of May 26th ... :confused: its in Alaska right now, I dont see it taking that long to get to Phoenix; but who knows.

Which is weird because last sunday I ordered 2 refurbed iPod Touches a few hours apart from each other for some family in MN and they got there last wednesday...ridiculously fast actually.

WOW, Horrible......what is the problem with FedEx????? Never have problems like these in the past.

I am the same..... I have had problems in the past with FedEx delivering to the wrong house....so i have to make sure i keep an eye on the tracking..... They have delivered to the wrong house at least 5 times in the past....and the people at that house, will sign for it and keep the package if i dont watch it enough....(they live right down the street, great neighbors eh????)
 
I ordered online on Saturday and got tired of waiting. I'm buying a 32gb 3g at BB right now. They don't carry the Apple cases. My wait is over!

I ordered on the 10th also. You're right that it's FedEx's issue, but I work for a large apparel retailer and we CONSTANTLY have to accept blame for shipping problems that aren't ours. Even though we don't make the mistake (late packages, missing packages) we end up having to make the customer happy one way or the order.
 
Just hoping mine leaves HK today!

Just look at my tracking... My package was 3 (!!!) days in Hong Kong.
 
Hmmm. My status hasn't changed since last night.

Still "In Transit" in Anchorage. (I didn't realize how wide that city is or how slow FedEx sled dogs are.)

I don't see any customs acceptance line either. :confused:
 
i just read on the Apple Support discussion board that the FedEx Web site isnt as accurate as calling and tracking it on the phone....... i dont see how thats possible.....so, i call the number and got my tracking status and they said it was in transit to my Local hub. So i am not sure what to believe....

its either on its way as we speak to my local hub or still in HK......lol.... very close.....

Oh well....i'll keep waiting....

No matter where your package is in transit, when you call FedEx their system will ALWAYS say that it is en route to your local FedEx location. I guess that's because no matter where it is, it is en route to your destination! LOL

yea, you are right.....the Fed Ex Rep i just spoke with said it is in fact still in HK.... It should be moving soon and still will make it on time for Friday delivery...... He said it is a bulk shipment and there have been customs delays in Alaska the last few days......... So?!?!?!?:rolleyes:
