Weird, mine didn't get to visit Lantau.

I'm hoping it'll get on a flight to Memphis tonight then be delivered on Thursday. I can't imagine it not being delivered until Tuesday like they are saying!

My 32gig 3g skipped the visit to Lantau as well. My FedEx information is the exact same as yours. Hopefully they will get out of Alaska quickly!

Neat! There are just a handful of us on here who have ordered them compared to all the other orders that have been placed. Makes me curious when I see someone with the same information as mine just how many they have on there!

I used to process orders for a product sold on TV. I thought they must have sold 600 a week at $350.

They sold 8,000 PER DAY at $350!!!

So just imagine what a REAL company like can do! Or does.

I ordered my 64 gig 3G on May 10th. It still shows as "Not Yet Shipped". I was really hoping to get it by Friday for some weekend travel. The shipping is set as "Priority" so I still have a glimmer of hope, but not much more than that...

Well if mine comes tomorrow (It left Alaska at about 5:30 PM EST), then you have a decent chance of getting yours in. I ordered 5/9, and FedEx estimated 5/20, although it seems almost everyone receives their iPad before FedEx's estimated delivery date. I'm going to stay up until 1 or so (woot nothing to do tomorrow), which is the latest it should arrive in Memphis if that's where it's going from Alaska. I'll keep everyone posted.

Go to the page before this one in this thread, and look a few posts up. You should see my shipping information (I posted a screenshot). It's currently still "Departed FedEx Facility" in Anchorage.

for those of you that have gotten their iPads in recently and for the ones that got theirs a couple days earlier than they expected.

Did the FedEx shipment status page remain accurate during the whole shipment process??? Some of you said, i was expecting it, Thursday and it showed up today, did the site reflect that or was it just a surprised when it arrived???

I'm getting tired, so I may or may not be able to update on the status of my iPad. It left Alaska at 5:42 PM EST, which means it should arrive in Memphis at roughly 1 AM. I don't know if it's going to Memphis, but many other peoples' iPads have, as there is a large FedEx facility there. Whether it can get from Memphis to Miami in about 19 hours at most (so I get it tomorrow) is another story. Only time will tell. FedEx's estimation is still 5/20 by 4:30 PM as of writing this.

Same exact thing showed up. I thought that the shipment left Alaska at 4:08PM... but now I'm wondering if the "in transit" is really saying "It's getting ready to leave". This tracking is unbearably annoying. Maybe it's time to stop checking it every hour...

Well, I decided to check it once more before I went to bed, and it arrived in Memphis at 12:01AM EST! Now only 20 more hours for them to get it to Miami if it's being delivered today (cmon FedEx)!

EDIT (6:30AM 5/19): IT'S IN MIAMI! It went from Memphis to Miami overnight (guess they flew it lol). I could drive to the facility if I wanted to, because it's fairly close. Should be delivered early, probably 9-11 AM or so.

Strange. You ordered yours 9 May. I ordered mine 7 May. Your in Miami and I'm just outside of Pensacola. Mine is STILL stuck in Hong Kong eating fried rice as of this morning. You get yours today, I get mine sometime in 2012? I'm a wee bit jealous.

Is there any information about it missing a cutoff? Honestly, if you ordered yours 5/7 and live in Pensacola (farther north, means closer to Memphis), you should have yours by now... Mine just says "At Local FedEx Facility" right now in Miami, so if I don't get it today, FedEx fails lol...

I can't figure them out. I'm in Milton (just say Pensacola because unless you're around here no one knows where Milton is lol). Mine is in Anchorage. My friend who lives here also ordered hers about 15min after me and hers is still in Shenzhen. We ordered the evening of the 10th. Mine has been sitting in AK for a while now and still hasn't been cleared. My MBPs were in/out of Anchorage in about 3-4 hours, I was hoping this would be the same.

Yeah, you should have it tomorrow unless they run into a problem.

i would doubt it. Mine has been in HK for almost 24 hours now. From what it looks like, once it gets to Alaska it takes about 2 days to get delivered. So it doesn't look good for a Friday delivery for you. It doesnt look good for a Friday delivery for me either, even though the FexEx tracking has it being delivered on Friday by 4:30pm and hasnt changed one time since shipment....

It seems to me that FedEx is holding them in HK until they have a large enough batch of stuff to put on a plane. I guess Monday it is . Bummer. At least it's on it's way. I could be one of the people that reserved one at a store with no clue as to when I'll get it!
