yes I think, I've order mine (I5 / 580 / 512 SSD) the 1st July , estimated delivery between 1-8 august and my credit card was charge today morning, so I think I'll have soon the prepare for shipment

I ordered the evening of July 3rd (i5/580/512GB) and have had an estimate of 7/27-8/3 all along. No charge to my card so far today.
Mine is a friends and family discounted order...I wonder if that somehow takes a backseat to normal online store orders?
My card is now being charged but no change in status yet. Not sure to be happy or sad. Haha.

My husband ordered my iMac late Sunday evening (July 16, 2017 EDT) and as of this morning it is preparing to ship.

Mine came today.
I now have a pending charge on my credit card and my order has changed to preparing for shipment. Still have the same delivery dates of 7/27-8/3 though.
All orders--discounted or otherwise--are processed as and when they get in (a friend of mine works for Apple).
Based on other threads, the relatively long delivery window you are having probably has more to do with the supply of the 512GB SSDs (or rather the lack thereof). Hang tight!
Mine is now preparing for shipment two full days after card was charged. Now waiting for it to ship so I can track it (and finally get it).

Apple gave me an estimated delivery date of August 4, but UPS is telling me July 31, and given that Apple tends to be conservative and that UPS should have a pretty good idea about their delivery times I trust UPS more. Also have 32 GB additional RAM incoming, and will add an external SSD to compensate for only having 512 internal. It's going to be a good week next week
I ordered my iMac today (I7, 580, 8GB, 3TB Fusion, MTP2 and MK w/#pad) and it's set to be here between 8/5-8//9) I'm really hoping it comes on the 4th or the 5th.

It's supposed to arrive tomorrow (28th of july) during the day.
I've been gone from the mac-family for a few years (Been using a PC the last 2 years or so), so it's definetly gonna feel great again when I get my hands on the beautiful beast I got the 27" with the Radeon 580

Things went quickly from preparing to ship to actually shipping for me. It was export scanned a few hours ago so my guess is that it's currently on a plane and will arrive somewhere in Europe during the night or early morning.
