And it looks like it happened again...iPads just got an arrival scan in Taiwan and the departure scan didn’t get in there til then. Keyboard folios apparently still sitting in Hong Kong though. This Taiwan scan threw me for a loop, wasn’t expecting this. I’ll look up which flight it is. One sec.

Ok it’s UPS59 that our iPads are on. In a little over an hour the flight will take off for Anchorage where it’ll land for an hour and a half layover and then take off again for Louisville. Should land in Louisville tomorrow morning at 8:35am central time.
[doublepost=1541282539][/doublepost]Hopefully UPS63 has keyboard folios on it and just not updating until the flight land in Anchorage. /fingers crossed

Why did they stop in Taiwan instead of flying direct to Anchorage?

Looks like UPS59 just got bumped up or something. It’s leaving in a little over 15 minutes from now.

Mines still sitting in ZhengZhou, China. Oh well it’s not going to get here until Wednesday no matter when it crosses to the US.

UK shipments are already in UK. This always happens. They will be scanned Tuesday night most likely (although it’s possible it may have a scan sooner) they won’t ship until Tuesday night.

As I’m in Sweden on Wednesday I’m hoping I can get my deliveries held at the depot to collect on Thursday.

And now it’s saying UPS59 isn’t leaving for an hour and 14 minutes...basically back to the original time.

Anybody's iPad in Check Lap Kok? At first I thought it said: Check Lap top!

A shipment of iPads just left there....looks like yours is going to be next in line. Hopefully yours doesn’t sit there for two and a half days before moving on. What’s the weight of your shipment? 12.9 keyboard folios are also going through Hong Kong as well. If it’s 1.5kg that’s a 12.9 iPad and if it’s 1kg it’s the keyboard folio.

My weight said: 1.5kg and it is a 12.9 iPad.

Indeed it is 1.5 KGS and it is a 12.9 Pro, before Chek Lap Kok it was in Shenzhen, China. This is fun tracking this stuff, I kinda feel like a secret agent dealing in international espionage.

Me neither, nothing has ever been late from Apple. The only thing that could delay it would be weather and mechanical problems.

I was part of the iPhone group a couple years ago that UPS stranded our phones in China for four days and causing our phones to be delivered late. Was supposed to be on Friday and was changed to Monday delivery when it was obvious that they wouldn’t get delivered on time. Friday night Apple got UPS to step up and do the right thing and do Saturday deliveries.

Last year for my series three watch the shipping container that my watch was in got pulled off the plane for customs inspections the day before release day delivery. My wife’s watch didn’t get pulled and I was able to see hers progressing all the way to Louisville while mine sat in Anchorage. Mine finally departed Anchorage and got to Louisville like 30 minutes before the UPS flight to Chicago was scheduled to depart. Talk about cutting it close....

Do you guys/gals know that you can track the UPS delivery truck to within about 1 block from your house on the day of delivery using MY Choice!

Isn’t that still just a beta program and for only certain types of deliveries? I had it for my iPhone X delivery last year...watched the driver go all over the place for 5 hours before delivering our phones. I paid to have the earliest delivery window of 9-11am and it didn’t get delivered until after 2pm.

Anyone preorder from Adorama? I did so I can escape sales tax. Hopefully I get it sooner than later.

Not sure about the beta, but I did the same thing with my X last year. At times the UPS truck was within 1/2 mile and then he took off across town. When he delivered the phone a few hours later he said he was on a set schedule and had to pick up items that companies were shipping. It might drive you a little crazy tracking the UPS truck drive all over, but in the end the tracking systems works well.

Well, now my Pencil has left Anchorage, but everything else seems to still be in China.
