Ha Ha!!! You sound like me :D I really need to slow my roll with Apple next year! Enjoy your new IPP today :cool::p The AW 4 is awesome too! That was a really nice upgrade for you :D:D:D and of course the XS Max is soooo awesome!!! I love the bigger screen :rolleyes:

I’ve actually managed to have some self control this year. I ordered the Xs Max as an upgrade from my X... And cancelled it a few days later as I decided it really wasn’t necessary. (We’ll se how that goes.)

And I managed to convince myself for a whole day that I didn’t want the new iPad Pro

Of course I justified that upgrade with it being smaller and lighter, which is good for my spazzie* arm - any excuse is a good excuse :p


*(before anyone gets up in *ahem* arms, I can use that word - it’s me I’m talking about.)

I tell ppl who are fans of LSU. We aren’t on that elite level any longer like we used to be. Some ppl will get mad at me for saying that. But it’s true. It’s ok though. I don’t get bent out out shape like some ppl.

Also, I just got my ready for pickup email from Bestbuy. So looks like I’m going to be there when they open to pick it up!

I am impressed! I have to say I really like the XS Max. I went from a Plus to the new X last year and I loved it but it was just too small for me! But ... now that you will ha e your beautiful IPP it may not matter :cool: Enjoy!

Oh don't get me wrong, I went from a 7+ to the X and I do find the screen just a teeny bit on the small side. But functionally, the X does everything I need it to. So I decided to wait until next year to upgrade (or for as long as I can hold out :D)

Grrr mine just arrived, but although i am working from home, i am on VC and can't crack open the box subtly...
 
Mine arriving Friday as changed delivery time so wouldn’t wake gf who’s on nights but then my pencil arrived today which woke her anyway oops

How do you get those estimated time and upgrades?? I want to set them up too.
 
Pencils are available for pickup today at local Apple stores. I'm pretty surprised

It depends on your courier. Today for instance mine was DHL. They sent me a txt this morning with my tracking details, which when clicked on also showed the progress of the driver.
I’d paid for a pre-noon delivery, so expected it by then anyway - though they did cut it fine.

Others, such as DPD I use their app, which lets you follow your delivery in real time and gives you a time slot for the delivery.

For everything else, I use the Parcel app which is pretty good at keeping you updated on things. And it gives you a handy link to the courier website, which saves you looking.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for my work phone. It's hit and miss if non-original usb-c cables work.

Now all I need is for the new iPhones to have usb-c and I'll only need to carry around one!

That would be nice, I’m really hoping next years IPhones switch to USB-C. Frankly it’s going to seem odd if they don’t now.
 
Can someone with a new 12.9 iPP tell us the weight and thickness of the Smart Folio and Smart Keyboard Folio? Would be nice to compare the "complete" iPP with the gen 2 version...
