Is there some task that absolutely requires the window to move completely in sync with the cursor when dragging it around otherwise said task will fail? If not I really don't see the problem. I'm trying to but just can't.

I have to agree with Troy2000 on this. One of the compelling things about the Mac has always been the polish. Laggy UI elements, or out of sync animations make it feel less polished, and more Windows-y, in my opinion.

not sure if anyone's mentioned this, but...isn't it time we got a calendar icon that worked with the other icons? ie flat, simple (rather than a pile of paper on a plastic stand)? time to retire that one...

It does match the other icons as it represents what it is, reminders is a to-do list pad, notes is a note pad; all are at the same angle and perspective.

I really don't know why we should get a different icon. I mean, the notes icon is still a notepad, the pages icon is still a piece of paper and pen, so why shouldn't the calendar app be a calendar?

I think they did a good job of making it fit in while still being an accurate and stylish representation of what it is. Hey, at least it matches better than that new iTunes icon...

guess i'd just like to see ALL the apple icons more uniform...flat. the calendar icon (for me) is just uglier than any of the others (including reminders, notes, etc). not a big deal tho...
