not sure when this got fixed but my McIntosh D100 (USB DAC) that stopped working correctly with the public beta is now again working. I don't see any public beta updates applied since the last time it didnt work so not sure how it fixed itself. Anyone else have their usb devices that were broken with this beta now fixed?

When i installed PB4 VLC changed language oddly enough, everything else is in Swedish but VLC changed to the Basque language, kinda odd, anyone else has this issue?

Anyone have a problem with Mail.app hanging on close - an eternal hang. Activity monitor is no help - it shows 0.0 CPU use... yet the red "Mail.app" not responding (red txt).

I am having problem with PB4. everytime my mac starts - for exaple spotify is set to open at start - and it shows the annoing message that I am opening the app for the first time.
And what really bugs me is that PB4 stopped opening my apps on login even tho the apps are in system preferences/users and groups/ login - items that should start when you login. for example smcFanControl stopped opening. so I have to manually open this app everytime I login to my macbook pro. there are few more apps that doesnt work.
I hope new PB will be released soon. submitted all these.

my question is - does anyone found a workout (temporary fix) ?
thnx

Try this: Reboot your Mac into single user mode. Then issue at the command prompt: fsck -fy
After finished, exit single user modevthen reboot your Mac normally.
The problem should be disappearing

Let me know if this work for you and cheer!

Anyone noticed, that waking from usb device does not work?!
I've always to push the power button to wake my iMac?

It seems as of a couple weeks now all of my USB devices are once again working and TimeMachine as well however I do not see any updates in the time frame these things got fixed... confused but happy

Actually - it's more like a "partial" wake when you have USB devices connected (Wireless mouse being one of the biggest offenders for me). My MacBook Pro will "wake" - but the display often will not fully come on - just a low glow. I can push the volume buttons and the system sounds result - but 9/10 times, the screen just will not come on - requiring a hard restart (never good for a computer).

Sometimes, closing the lid and reopening it will wake the display, but more often than not - it doesn't help at all - and has even completely locked up the computer.

Not sure if this is a bug? In mail preferences I have "Display unread messages with bold font" ticked, but the font for both read and unread message is the same. It only works when mail is set to "use classic layout."

I would like read/unread messages to be more easily distinguishable like in classic layout.

Has anyone else been having issues with the lock screen? Since the last two betas or so, after waking my laptop up.. I can't move the mouse or type. I usually have to hit the power button and on the second try, everything goes back to normal.

I've been having an issue dragging items between spaces for several Betas now. What used to be simple, dragging a picture from a website to the desktop, dragging songs from a folder into iTunes, etc... has now become impossible. Trying to drag any item from space to space results in a crazy random jumping around of spaces. Anyone else having a similar issue?

Yep, exact same here. New beta out so hopefully it fixes a lot of these issues.

Not sure if this is El Capitan or iOS 9 beta...

But with the last beta update (both iOS and El Capitan), I can no longer tether my iPhone 6+ to my MacBook Pro.

I know the MacBook Pro "sees" the iPhone, as the Photos app on my MBP launches EVERY TIME I CONNECT IT... UGH! Nowhere to shut that off...

But while Photos sees the iPhone, the iPhone will charge via the USB cable (Apple OEM), it doesn't show as connected in System Settings, nor does the iPhone see the MBP as connected. This began immediately following both updates.

Ummm Dashboard is no more?
For some reason, they turned it off in prefs / mission control. I can understand them changing the defaults for clean installs, but not changing people's settings when upgrading. I went and turned it back on again. Maybe I'm one of the few who actually use it!

I installed today on my retina Macbook and it no longer is going to sleep, and there is no sleep option in the Energy Saver - just the slider to adjust the screen off. New or existing bug? Unique to me?

Been having issues the last couple builds with OneDrive. It will run just fine but will randomly start running away with CPU usage. I'll notice my fan will spin up and and Activity Monitor reports over 90% CPU usage by OneDrive, have to force quite the process.

Recent update (21 aug) killed my bluetooth somehow. I have no clue. And I am mad.
The only thing — I didn't move my mackbook or even touched it (ext monitors + kbd + wacom + bluetooth mouse).
Rebooting doesn't help.
Anyone?
