Try this from the Terminal: (without the quotes)

'sudo softwareupdate -i -a'
just did this and it says:
Finding available software
No updates are available.
Strange. I just installed El Capitan Recovery Update. Probably is stupid question, but did you try restart your Mac? Maybe there is some problem with network? With earlier versions you didn't have any problems?
no problems with earlier downloads. so strange.

This is annoying, I hope it's a bug and not something permanent.

I have a 13" rMBP. I have the display resolution set at 1440x900 (2880x1800).

Every time I boot or restart it, the display resolution is reseted to the default rMBP resolution and every time it starts loading Finder it makes an annoying transition when switching back to 1440x900.

I have FileVault turned on.

On Yosemite, it only happened when the resolution was 1680x1050.

Anyone else seeing this bug? I'm on the latest PB.

PS. Yes, I don't have to turn it off, but I like to turn it off every night so I can start with a fresh boot next morning. Call it peace of mind.

yes, nothing shows up. maybe apple pulled it out? :/
I doubt. If Apple pulled out this update, probably on MacRumors will be notification about that. Yesterday I installed PB, today Recovery Update. This is absolutely very strange. I had issue with installed PB not listed on App Store under Installed updates, but this is something different...

I've had a really bad day with App Store, the Recovery Update installed, but was still listed as available update, then it wouldn't download, and now I tried to download Cappy beta to put it on my SSD but download time was 6 days (!) then stalled completely.

Everything else works perfectly well, and the App Store is misbehaving both on 10.11 and on 10.10.5. I don't know what's going on there...

I experienced similar problem with PB 4. Download, install, restart. And then suddenly appear one more time on App Store under available updates. Download, install, restart again. After second "circle" completed, in App Store no available updates, but PB 4 isn't listed under installed updates in last 30 days. Obviously is some "chaos" with App Store and betas...

Probably is included. Did you check in App Store if there is available for download?

yes my appstore shows "no updates", but you know. it never showed up PB5 update. so I am scared my appstore is not showing any updates at all. :/

Don't panic :) Try sign out from App Store and sign in again and check for updates. What's listed in software under About This Mac?

"OS X El Capitan 10.11 Beta (15A262e)"

Tried signing out and signing in - still no updates. So I'll be hoping that there's really no updates for me now. :) we will see with another beta release.

Everything will be fine. We are still in beta testing, most of the time many of us, including me, forgot that. Latest El Capitan beta is, as far I'm concerned, really fast, especially in video/photo editing. And that's great.

yeah, and all my problems like apps (for example smcfancontrol) started to autostart at login again (wasnt working in PB4). and other apps are not showing the "you are opening this app for the first time" anymore. so I am happy with this latest beta :) also some cosmetic fixes I submitted were done.

I re-partioned my HDD using Disk Utility earlier and had to reinstall the operating system. When I went to delete the partition later, the total bytes were adding up to more than the actual size of the hard drive. I re-partioned with a third-party tool. No issues.

Anyone else having mail not work? It closed randomly while using it and now every time I go to open mail it immediately crashes before opening a window. Click the icon and a second later a "Mail application has quit unexpectedly."

I had that issue on PB3, but after this beta neither once.
