I'm not having the Safari issues you are.I think that another El Capitan GM candidate should be released before 30 Sept.
- Airdrop doesn't work, El Capitan is not able to see the device to airdrop to...
- Finder doesn't remember the last position of folders ( in folder or in list view ) when you browse through folder.
- Safari doesn't show the download speed in download section or only for very short time (0.5 or 1 second ).
Anyone else getting this consistently? Every hour or more in getting the screen go grey, it hangs for a minute then restarts. It seems to happen at random but is getting more frequent. I'm on the GM candidate.
Yep. I don't even get a beach ball. The screen just goes grey and then restarts. :/ really hope there's another GM update before full release.Mine does this... freezes, beach ball, then restarts
I'm having memory leaks that are so bad it results in "Your Startup Disk is Almost Full" error messages, which then freezes up my MBP. Trying at the moment to discover if it's a particular app.
And like many others, I can't use Outlook 2011 because it constantly freezes. Sigh.
Seems like more bugs than when Yosemite was at this stage. I thought this year it was to be about bug fixes and stability? Seems not at all. I think for the first time in many many years I may wait this out a bit. Maybe some of these issues are3 one off's for whatever reason, but this seems more like an early beta than anything close to a GM candidate.
Doubt it, why did Apple leave it as is for the past 5 OS releases, then suddenly change it in El Cap? Also, the keys aren't cropped out smoothly; half of the text on the keyboard is cropped. Looks awful, so I'm feeling it's a bug of some kind. The keyboard thing could be intentional, to give a bit more of context.
Yes, it is almost like people come up with new ideas and trying to make stuff better, so weird, why would they do that?Doubt it, why did Apple leave it as is for the past 5 OS releases, then suddenly change it in El Cap?
But the exposed keyboard showing doesn't make it look better. In fact, it makes it look more amateurish and unfinished. Of course, that's my opinion, and others are free to disagree.Yes, it is almost like people come up with new ideas and trying to make stuff better, so weird, why would they do that?
It doesn't have to "look better" if it provides better contextual information. You're not meant to stare at it, it's a help video showing you how gestures work. But the exposed keyboard showing doesn't make it look better.
