God, I just booted up my iMac to find that it's lagging in almost every way. I couldn't even type in my password without taking pauses to wait for the characters to appear in the login field...

I'm not sure if it is the same bug, but I have just noticed mouse cursor disappearing on Yosemite sometimes. For me it seems to always be in fullscreen apps. Activating mission control and returning to the app seems to get the mouse cursor back.

Steinberg (and NI) have had access to this beta since June. Yet they act like they just learned about issues with their products and it will take them a few weeks to fix them.

A lot of companies didn't bother until the GM since they knew Apple would keep on changing things. Reason Ignition key didn't work in PB1 and PB2, then worked in PB3, then again not in PB4, then started working again and works until now. Propellerheads didn't do anything, it was just Apple tinkering. I'm guessing Steinberg and Native Instruments just hoped the problems would magically resolve themselves

Been running the beta for a while with a new rMBP 15" but exchanged it yesterday and today I noticed a white flickering box to the left of the dock which has never happened. Anyone else or just a glitch? Only happened once. Everything else is working perfect for me on 10.11.1.

i have something that has been happening with safari 9 since GM. i have 2 monitors. i have safari open in both windows. if i drag a tab from safari on the secondary monitor it will always place itself on the primary monitor. only when dragging a tab off though. opening a new window on the secon monitor does not open that new window in the primary monitor.

anyone else experiencing this?

Anyone else notice if you move the cursor around quickly, especially in a circular movement it magnifies about 10x's its size? I'm guessing that's just a random bug. It was in the public beta but I see its still there after doing a fresh public release install

Is anyone else having issues with preview and .jpg? pictures will show then disappear

edit - 5241x2948 resolution have this issue, anything smaller seems to open fine in preview

That's a feature.

You can disable it in System Preferences -> Accessibility -> Display.

Did a fresh install. Wiped HD 2x. Somehow my Google account was already in the Preferences>Accounts.
I wasn't getting any mail. I delete the account and re-added. And now it's working good again.

So I reset a password for my work email account today (we use google). For some reason I couldn't find a password field under said account under the accounts section so I decided to delete the account. That may have been stupid but I've been trying to sign in again and it's taking FOREVER I just don't think it's going to work :/. Any ideas why this would be an issue? It's not the end of the world I'll survive but still.

not sure when this got fixed but my McIntosh D100 (USB DAC) that stopped working correctly with the public beta is now again working. I don't see any public beta updates applied since the last time it didnt work so not sure how it fixed itself. Anyone else have their usb devices that were broken with this beta now fixed?

Not sure if it is related but my USB DAC (identified as "Burr-Brown Japan PCM2702") can't adjust volume anymore, neither the speakers on my DisplayPort connected screen. This is in the release version of El Capitan. Never tried the betas. Worked in Yosemite.

I've now isolated it as an issue with Mail. Within minutes of opening the Mail app, everything slows down to a crawl and then I get the message that my startup disk is full. This is awful.

I have the same problem. Goes to 12GB of memory in about 3 minutes and everything on the system is unresponsive...

Funny/annoying:

- The icon of an external drive used as Time Machine drive doesn't change to a green icon (with Time Machine logo) anymore after the first back-up has taken place. For me, it stays always yellow. Time machine works fine.
- They didn't fix connecting to shares (i.e. a NAS via AFP or SMB) via login items and ticking "hide" in start-up items. For me the Finder windows still pop up after login DESPITE selecting hide.
- I find the instructions for 2 windows maxed at once (or whatever they call it) very confusing. Keeping max (green button) selected, then drag to upper left works best to start this.
- Notes is now even worse than on iOS. Why can't draw I anything directly ?

That is on purpose, to help you find the cursor when you can't see it on the screen.

Wasn't this an old bug on certain models ... in 10.10 ? Bad quality control.

I also don't see any improvements in Spotlight (other than moving the window around) - is there a list of things I can type in somewhere? I received emails yesterday but when I type in "Emails I received Yesterday" I just get random PDFs and other stuff. When I type in "Presentations I worked on" I get PDFs again, yet I do have plenty of presentations. How does this work?

I got a error on install something like "cant install due to interruption during download". Cant install/update now in regular manner.

issue that overtime I put my macbook air to sleep and reopen it later that it didn't dismount my SD card (that hasn't been taken out since I installed it over a year ago ....).
