I've just upgraded to El Capitan and when I wake the computer from sleep (reopening the shut screen after at least an hour), my built-in keyboard and trackpad are unresponsive. Furthermore, the system looks for a Bluetooth keyboard automatically.
Anyone else have this issue? Any advice?
thanks!

El capitan has destroyed my bootcamp partition and won't let me make a new one, it also destroyed the rescue disk partition. Anyone else has this? Anyone find any solutions?
If I run
pmset -g assertions
I notice that the final output line is:
Idle sleep preventers: IODisplayWrangler
Is this normal? I have noticed last night my Macbook didn't sleep through the night, with lid closed and no apparent reason to not do so. This morning the battery was drained (it was >20% before going to bed). I am on ElCap public beta, but I don't think this matters, as I've never experienced this in the last days.
Installed El Capitan on 5K Retina iMac with Fusion Drive and now whenever I restart or shut down the computer, it "hangs" on the black screen for a good 5-10secs, then you get the lined circle icon spin a few times and THEN it will restart/shut down. Never had the black screen hang for this long.
Anyone else getting this?
With what i am experiencing, after my install onto a separate partition, my cursor/trackpad was un-useable, but is completely fine over on yosemite.
i've had the same problem. i don't know to resolve it but i know what is the problem. to reboot normally you have reboot in S mode and delete the epson extension that you find in library/extesions. in that way you don't have to restore all you mac but i don't know how to resolve the problem.i have installed HP and Epson printer driver 3.1 released by Apple last week.on El Capitan DP2. I downloaded them from Apple download website, not through Mac App Store, and I install them manually. I do not have any printer connect yo my system, and I install them just in case I may need to print through these two branspds of printer. The installation went fine.
Right after installed, my RMBP is not booting properly. It hang at black Apple logo screen and hang after loading bar bad come to full. No mouse cursor appear on the boot screen as it should GE.
I have recovered my system from Time Machine and reinstall these two printer drivers again, then reboot, and the same problem occur.
I have to restore my system for the second time and it took me more than 2 days to do 2 restores and to update my system to jake it up to date.
DO NOT INSTALL APPLE PRINTER DRIVER 3.1 FOR EPSON AND HP. THEY WILL MAKE YOUR SYSTEM UNBOOTABLE. I REPEAT THIS AGAIN.
Any friend here experienced the same problem as I did? Advise please
Yeah, I am having the same problem. When my mac (air mid 2012) comes from sleep it sometimes takes like 5-10 seconds until mouse/keyboard/trackpad becomes responsive again. Haven't found solution so far.
Yes. I've had to hold down the power to shutdown. Wish there was another work around.I've just upgraded to El Capitan and when I wake the computer from sleep (reopening the shut screen after at least an hour), my built-in keyboard and trackpad are unresponsive. Furthermore, the system looks for a Bluetooth keyboard automatically.
