let it index again, i also have this happening on Mavericks sometimes

Indexing is letting Spotlight review all the info again, right? Also: I Index by adding Macintosh HD and removing it from the Privacy option in Spotlight Preferences, right?

That was one of the major features of Mavericks was that apps could be full screened without affecting the other displays. Does anyone know if this causes any sort of issue with applications that full screen on both displays? I use Microsoft Remote Desktop for work and it uses both of my displays, and that might hold me back from installing.

You use MRD on Mavericks on two screens? I have been trying to get that to work in ML for ages. Guess i should stop being so lazy and update to Mavericks then. Although I like being one of the 49% who haven't upgraded. You know, think different and all that:D

Bartender crashes on launch.

OS X blocks from launching VMWare Fusion 6.

I don't have a pw on my system. Installed 10.10 beta and now I can't log in. No pw doesn't work apparently.

Mail is stuck upgrading although has been on 100% for the last 30 mins or so....

EDIT: So Force Quitting and then re-opening seems to have worked.

Yosemite seems to eat RAM. It's currently using all my available RAM (not the same way Mavericks did). I've also experienced Swap usage for the first time too.

Try your iCloud password.

Didn't work. It seems that the issue is that you can't submit the entry unless something is in the text box. So no password is an issue. I just sort of hit some random keys and kind of held escape and hit enter and eventually got in. Then I changed my PW.

Not really a bug, but good Christ is scrolling choppy on the latest 13" rMBP. Hopefully with future builds it will become more optimized for better performance.

A bit choppy on my MBP. Using the Applications stack can be choppy.

It works just fine for me thus far. No choppy yet.

I dropped the resolution to best for display rather than scaling it like I was before and its better now. Unfortunately when I run it scaled the way I was before with higher resolution it was terrible.

there are just a couple of little things i'm seeing that i can't tell if they're just me or if i should reinstall or "it's just a beta" -

  1. i'm not getting icons for some apps in /Applications under columns view, some show up but others don't. might be an artifact of reindexing and not really too big of a bother, just visually weird
  2. i can't verify or repair disk permissions in disk utility at all! both buttons are greyed out but verify/repair disk aren't.
  3. ableton live worked on first boot and now it's just crashing on startup after scanning my VSTs/AUs, pretty weird. worrying but maybe there's a fix

overall it's pretty alright! most apps work real well

Chrome for Mac keeps going to the Aw snap error page....quickly with My Ebay but after a few seconds/minutes with almost every website I visit.

No icon for my hard drive on the desktop
Photo booth displays a question mark as an icon
Itunes icon is still the old one

Safari Bug: Typing in some inputs makes the window scroll all over. Good example is face books chat.

Post any bugs you find in here...

Im pretty impressed that it hasn't been as buggy as other betas.

Ive ran into one bug so far. When scrolling the applications folder and reaching the bottom is jumps to the middle of the pane.

Not happening here.

Safari is super unstable for me (i.e. open it and it crashes within a minute). Is this true for anyone else?

Hasn't crashed on me yet. But it's only been an hour or so of use.

Whem maximizing (going to full screen) and minimizing finder windows, the holo part where favorites, devices and tags are, becomes fully transparent, so the whole text messes up till it zooms in/out.
