In light of today's ultra lackluster iOS 11 preview, now I find myself wanting to JB my 7Plus more than ever. However being on 10.2.1, I am stuck waiting.

Apple missed a serious opportunity to revamp the springboard.
I find myself wanting to possibly move operating systems!

I've gone down the "well I'll switch to Android" road and it never works out for me.. the grass is always greener on the other side...

There will be a LOT of changes between now and the released build of iOS 11. I'm not worried WWDC is just the tip of the ice burg. The one thing I wish is that developers would add more icon options, I mean we can change icons now but the developers aren't taking advantage of it. We need something like anchor too so I can have open spaces between icons if i want.

Would be so g if Pangu, upon discovering their exploits are patched in iOS 11.0 beta 1, release the 10.3.1 or 10.3.2 jailbreak while they're being signed

or if someone shows us they can jailbreak iOS 11 period, just for hope of the next version getting a jailbreak some day potentially maybe.

But I'm not saying thats gonna happen :p

Yep is Pangu patched in iOS 11? if not we could be in for a long wait. I'm just sitting on 10.3.1. Apple will stop signing 10.3.1 soon with the released iOS 11 beta. Get as many people as you can running 11 then slam the door shut on 10.3.1 so they can't restore back to it for a JB.

I think it would be faster if someone on here learns how to create a jailbreak than to wait for jailbreak teams. Who wants to volunteer? :p

After the 10.3.1 hype I feel jailbreaking is dead. With Apple enabling ways to side load apps the "need" for a jailbreak has gone down. That and Luca's half assed beta crap...I don't count abandonware as a jailbreak.

Nothing beta about it anymore

Luca has a complete 7 10.1.1 jb

And pre 7 10-10.2 has been complete since its release

But I feel ya on the draught.

Still I'd prefer a jb with new iPhone hardware at this point. Only a few months away

The current JB even though it is "beta" is as stable a JB as I have ever seen on my 6S running 10.1.1.

Doesn't help 7/7Plus users and I was very wary of jailbreaking 10.1.1 because of the complexity of it and complaints of many reboots and having to get substrate working. I stayed on 10.1.1 but got trigger happy when I saw the 10.3.1 posts so that's my fault. Of course Luca fixes 10.1.1 like 4 friggin months later.

To his credit tho the release was meant for Devs only until the complete jb came recently

And If not for that we'd still have nothing to work with on 7/7+

So I'm thankful personally

And updating my SE and iPad Pro to 10.2 from 9.3.3 proved worth it for me

I used the beta 4 on my 7plus yesterday. I only use it for 3gUnrestrictor, MyWi, and Anemone. So, I'm 2/3 good. What I love the most right now, is that I don't have to look at the stock springboard any more.

I bet if users had to pay for a jailbreak these developers would be more motivated to release a jailbreak.

I doubt it, Apple and other security companies will offer way more and guaranteed money.
With a paid JB you never know what you'll get with donations.
And if you make it paid by each use then hackers will buy a copy and then release it for free to the masses.

No clue but goes to show how quickly false news can spread. We were told by Christmas, then after 10.3, then August blah blah blah.
Its sad but the truth is they can't make a jailbreak working on a current iOS version now. iOS 10.2 one was a surprise and a coïncidence when Tudesco see that he's yalu 10.1 JB can work on 10.2 but now, its over a year since an "official" jailbreak so yeah...I think the jailbreak future is clearly not good and I can't see a big turn around and suddenly see a quick ios 11 jailbreak etc..

JB comunity like youtubers try it hard to make us believe jailbreak is not dead but I think they just lie to themselves. If from now on we can only jailbreak in older iOS version and we have to play the game "dont update, wait and hope", I'm out and I believe the majority of the big crowd who jailbreak in the past will quit the boat as well.

And yes, I loved jailbreaking my devices but the past one year and half show me that I can't be blind anymore and believe jailbreak is still in good shape.
