Pangu8 won't recognize idevice

I am running iOS8.1 (non OTA update) freshly restored on windows 8.0 Professional (32bit), latest iTunes version, with an iPad mini 1st gen. My problem is that pangu8 does not recognize my device (Wimdows does however but not pangu) I do not have a Internet connection on the PC and only have USB 2.0 (I know old) any suggestions. Also I have tried compatibly mode with admin rights and same result.

Use another computer to jb it.

Worked flawlessly on my iphone 5 and I have cydia working as well. The biggest PITA was installing itunes on a windows 7 box. Must have taken 15 minutes to install with about 40 different status bars so you never knew the overall progress of the install. Windows is a joke of an os.

You don't have to use a PC to finish the jailbreak, All I did was run Pangu on the pc , then switched to my mac and did the SSH and commands everything is great on my part,

RIGHT?! First it was that iTunes couldn't install because it wasn't the 64bit version, then it didn't install correctly, and other crap.

Was SO glad when that was over.

Pangu not running to JB iPhone 4S ios 8.1

I've got an iPhone 4S with ios 8.1 loaded via iTunes. i.e, not OTA.
I am running the latest Pangu from iDownloadBlog.com on a Windows
8 Enterprise x86 virtual machine. iTunes is installed and see my iPhone 4S.
When I start Pangu, as administrator, it comes up and sees my iPhone.
Shows at the top. I then remove the check mark mentioned in the video
and press the jailbreak. It starts but then I get a red message where the name of my iPhone was.
Anyone tried to JB an iphone 4S? or used Windows 8 Enterprise x86?

I have pictures of the install before the error and the error but I don't kow how to get them in here.

Thanks in advance for any ideas
William

I jailbroke my iPhone 4s yeah. Was using Windows 7 x64 however

I jailbreaked my iPad, install cydia. Then I enable a passcode. Now it freeze at boot with apple logo on the screen. Is it normal???

Hi,

did someone try the Apple official SDcard-ligtning connector after jailbreaking ?
It worked fine for me before I jailbreaked, but now I get an invalid device message.

Could it potentially be because I am not connected to the cloud on the pc when I try to do it?

That shouldn't be it. I only had iTunes installed on my Windows. Are you doing a fresh restore than restoring your backup to it? If so, try just doing a fresh restore than jailbreak right after.

Good Luck Jacob!

Tried both

How about this.. Does Pangu open for you at all in Windows? Your issue may be 32bit versus 64bit, as you stated you are running a 32bit version of windows, and the may have compiled a 64bit version of Pangu.

FYI - I ran Pangu8 on a 32 bit version of XP over a Fusion VM.
