Hello,

For people with an older macOS I've updated the v2 version to v2b30 available at https://phonix.nl.eu.org

Source code available too.

- most features from the v35 Big Sur version (like dragging playlist items to other tabs (hold shift key to make a copy in another tab)
- some flacs did not play

you can upload the crashlog there and post the link here or send me a PM

ok, open a terminal and enter

open ~/Library/Caches

and check if the K-Meter.component is there? Quit Phonix and remove it and try again please ?

K-Meter component should be from 22 march 19:54 and 4,2 mb

If that does not work do this in a terminal

defaults delete vs.Phonix3

Phonix v3b93 for Big Sur is out at https://phonix.nl.eu.org

- fix broken SEEK due to layout changes

Hi,

I'm encountering a serious bug with v3b102 (and v3b101 before it). Phonix plays through Airpods Pro in *extremely* lo-fi. I'm playing from lossless (flac) sources, but they all sound like a 32kb mono mp3.

I'm on a 2020 MBA w/M1, MacOS 11.2.3, Airpods Pro.

1) This problem didn't occur on my old 2018 MBP, which was also running MacOS 11.2.x, with the exact same Airpods Pro. That machine was running whatever release of Phonix would have been most current in early January.

2) This current machine, OS, and Airpods Pro have no problems with other audio sources. Audio sounds fine from Spotify, the Music app, youtube, and netflix.

3) When I switch out the Airpods Pro for wired headphones, Phonix sounds perfect again.

I'm led to guess there's something that isn't playing nice between Phonix and the bluetooth audio system. Any ideas? Or is there anything I can do to help you diagnose this further?

Thanks.

Hi,

Can you try switching on the Airpods before starting Phonix?
