Actually it's where we are living at the moment - we're on holiday in Cambridgeshire for the week.
The carriage itself has been split into bedroom, lounge and bathroom compartments, with full services but very old fashioned.
The kitchen is an extension built against the side you can't see, plus a small conservatory.

Very compact but comfortable as a base to explore the Fens.

Cheers :)

Hugh

That sounds really interesting and a bit different to a hotel.

The colors of the Auroras above are natural, including the violet ones. The violet (shades of purple) colors are rare and most people can't see it, but the sensor does. When I was taking the photos I had no idea that the violet colors were present until I looked at one of the photos on the camera's screen. This night was the first time in over eight years that I have seen the Auroras violet colors on my photos.

I was just very lucky that night, and these are the most common colors (green, yellow, white):

Angle was mostly because I didn't want him to notice I was taking the pic! Still getting used to the incognito shooting!

Really nice shot. Was it someone you know or a candid?

Here's the front of the dive boat.

As per usual, comments appreciated.

That is gorgeous. Makes you feel warm just looking at it. Cant wait for the summer. This could be a poster for mediteranean boat trips. Only thing is the shadow of the rail? Maybe clone it out or something? Does that make it look fake?

Sounds neat , but must be a real pain every morning when the conductor comes through checking tickets ...

It's OK, we got a weekly ticket, so he only needed to check it once :)

The bed is something else; there's a plaque on it saying 'By Appointment To His Majesty The King', and it's made of very strong wood with a layer of gigantic springs under the mattress.
I reckon it's from the beginning of the 20th century.

Like sleeping on a small boat at sea, rolling about everywhere, but OK when you get used to it.

Would have liked to see some close up detail of the dress. That looks like beautiful tailoring (not being a perv so behave). The design and the colour would be amazing in the sunlight close up.

We did a variety of different shots... here's another that shows some of the detail on the dress. I didn't shoot a lot in direct sunlight as it's very hard to control the harsh shadows that develop on the face as a result.

I think it would feel a bit fake with out the shadow and possibly too perfect!

I was pretty lucky getting the horizon pretty spot on as the boat was shaking about a bit!

Thanks for the comments. Summer is on its way, don't worry!

Stunning, what are the flowers in the background? They have a peculiar bloom. Lovely.

Gorgeous shade of blue in that dress!
