Really nice shot. Was it someone you know or a candid?

Great Grey Owl...reprocessed from 2 years ago. I'm having way too much fun with Lightroom CC. Should have dropped Aperture a long time ago.
Thanks... someone very near and dear to my heart
Another one from that shoot...

Wonderful shot Peter. I love it!
Stunning Cheese! So much impact, a great capture and post. I like the black and white conversion here, any tricks as to how you got it so tonally epic?
Not the classic view of the lake windermere, but I had to work with the Fog

Stunning, what are the flowers in the background? They have a peculiar bloom. Lovely.
One more cherry blossom pic.

Loverly pic. Is that Moondancer on the water?
I liked the first one very much but like this one better. The oof blossoms add something to the picture without detracting from the main subject. Beautiful.
Thanks MacRy and TheReef.
Reef, here are the two versions:
Aperture:

Lightroom:

1) Added a graduated filter to decrease exposure (significantly) from left to right
2) Added a radial filter to decrease exposure a little bit further but in an oval pattern and just on the right side (kind of a selective vignette type thing)
3) B&W
I'm not suggesting I'd do this sort of thing often and of course it's not to everyone's taste but I do enjoy exploring possibilities.

You have convinced me to learn Lightroom.
Made some changes to my gear (still ongoing) over the past 2 weeks. I went ahead and took the plunge into the world of legacy all-manual lenses adapted to a Sony A7II body. Had to take a bit of time to "learn" the new toys. I've discovered that I MUCH prefer manually focusing (slows me down and makes me think about my capture, rather than being snap-happy with modern AF lenses). I also love the size and weight reduction that comes with carrying these tiny rangefinder-sized lenses.
But it's now time to get back to the daily photo thread...
A day at the Park.
