That is where my son lives, nice photo!

That's not how my mind pictures Honolulu. Nice photo though.

Thanks guys. Your son is a lucky man JamesMike...Hawaii is a paradise.

AFB, Honolulu is a big busy city on the small and busy island of Oahu. It's got cruise ports, tons of shopping, great restaurants, US Naval, Army and Airforce bases...it's a happening place. The other Hawaiian islands are where you go for beaches and palm trees...highly recommended if you ever have an opportunity.

Not in this lifetime I'm afraid. I haven't had a holiday in years. My daughter can't travel. But yes beaches and Palm trees are what I imagine when I think of Honolulu.

very well thank you, how about yourself?

been busy setting up a new company with a friend of mine, coupled with a full time job, makes excess forum time & leisure photography kind of a luxury.

been having a go at sketching too, which helps me de-monitor my eyes and un-stress altogether for a bit. you can check them out here dispersed through the thread's pages : https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1726977/

Wow great sketches. I like the torso and above on first one. Very realistic, though the han placement and the thighs dont look right to me. Great job though.

My latest, titled "Curve Appeal II" because it is the second in a series. Being that I am both a photographer and a writer, I love sharing stories about my images when I release them, as I think most of you probably already know! If you're at all curious, you can read all about how this shot happened on on my Facebook page or on my website.

The location is a very remote one in the area of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

Romahome R25 (not 'cool' like a VW camper, but very comfortable)...

I think it's the nomad lifestyle we all toy with!

My mum actually has one very similar (and for the same reasons!)

My have to check if I am able to get on the insurance for a reasonable price and take it for a whirl! Are you going campsite to campsite? I know the local authorities can get a bit annoyed at just stopping at beauty spots.

You might not want to post your mums number plate online.

But if you can get the insurance and have the free time I say go for it!

Already saw this on FB earlier today. Worth repeating here: The composition is perfectly executed and everything else falls right into place. Wonderful stuff!

Another stunner. I guess that's your reward for getting to these remote locations. Keep up the good work.

Way ahead of you! That's just the first hit for when I search for her van. I don't actually have a real picture of it! ha I'm not that attached!

One of the few shots that seemed to work in colour.

Oh to have a Hasselblad scanner and too much money to care!!!

As always, comments appreciated!

Very much like this in B&W.

I loved the foreground in the original color version but the cliffs drew too much attention for my taste; I would have loved for them to have not been in the shot at all. Changing to B&W has made a remarkable improvement in my opinion.

Cheers from the sidelines!

Thank you. I tend to agree with you on that front.
