I like windmill photos and yours is excellent.
That's georgeous.
Another day, another windmill shot. Not so happy with this one, but I was trying for the sunrise and windmill combined. Unfortunately the sunrise was a bit of a let down.

Keep on trying. The windmill is a very interesting subject to me, and I have never seen such. If you don't mind me asking, was it build by the Romans?
Much later. 1632. You can read about it here. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chesterton_Windmill
I'll post up another tomorrow.
Another from the series:
I just found a humming bird nest right outside my door, and I can't wait to take some pics of it, it also has two eggs... the possibilities....
Those colors are amazing!
Sounds interesting -- I found an abandoned nest last year, but never saw it in use. My understanding is that extra care and restraint is needed when photographing (or observing) near a nesting area, and there are those who discourage photographing nesting birds altogether. Something to consider.

Building on the concept from my previous photo...

That's a very well trained model you have. Well, not "just a model hummingbird," but a super model one.

Thank you, Apple fanboy.
I took perhaps 150 similar photos last night, and noticed the sort of purple colors only when I looked at the photos on the camera's screen. The sensor can capture that color, but the human eye can't see it (at least I can't)

Comments always appreciated.
Well done... Just be conscious of your shadow really nice.

There is something Liv Tyler-esque about her...

That is a stunning colour display. I would love to go further North and see the lights some day.

Nice perspective. Tight but still tells you what it is. Very nicely done.

For what it's worth, my favourite of the windmill series so far - lovely colours and enough of the windmill sail to tell you exactly what it is. Lovely.
