Beautiful photo Apple fanboy. Do you know what type of flower this is?

Looks like a nice spot to relax. Nice photo.

The Three Sisters Lighthouses are a trio of historic lighthouses in Eastham, MA. They earned their nickname, the "Three Sisters" because when looked at from afar, they look like black hatted women dressed in white. This is one of the Three Sisters.

It's a bluebell. They grow in woodlands around this time of year. There weren't many out as I was a little early.

Well if that's what floats your boat you'd love my lawn!
Not personally! We have a friend who harvest ours once a year and goes to town roasting and pulverising them for his coffee substitute... Doesn't even taste remotely like coffee if you ask me, even worse than instant coffee if such a thing is possible!

If this is a lighthouse, I think it’s missing something LOL

Had the opportunity for some long exposures yesterday whilst the better-half did her radio show in the morning, but it clouded up too thick for the duration of it, so I only managed to get a few captures which had skies that I could accept.

This is an interesting (to me) little water tower in Willunga, South Australia.

Was it built by the same people as @kgphotos lighthouse?

Newport Bridge from the air.

Was flying into Providence recently and took this from the airplane window. Newport in the top of the frame, Jamestown in the bottom of the frame. Goat Island connected to Newport near the top of the frame. Fort Adams on the little finger jutting into the frame in the upper right.

I've shared pics of the Newport Bridge from several of these locations over the years, with my most recent pics coming from Jamestown to the left of where the bridge meets land near the bottom of the frame along the coast.

Yes....it is a lighthouse. The lantern has been removed. A bit of history about these lighthouses: These lighthouses were originally located on the east coast of Cape Cod, MA way back in 1837. By 1890, the lights were very close to the cliffs edge, so since it was impossible to move these three lights intact, three 22-foot wooden lighthouses with identical markings were built in 1892 to replace the former lights. In 1911, the lighthouses had suffered a lot of erosion and were 8 feet from the cliff, so the lights got moved again. By this time only the center light was lit- that light became known as the Beacon. It was in 1918 that the other two had their lanterns removed and moved here. All three have been decommissioned. Nauset Light which I will post tomorrow, replaced these. Nauset Light is right down the road from where these are.

The Beacon and the third of the Three Sisters Lighthouses.
