First of the Pasque Flowers, AKA mountain Crocus. Definitely a bit earlier than expected.

Same flower as yesterday , this time taken in as total darkness as I could get , but using a flash modified to produce only UV.
I made several shots at progressively higher ISO's until , at 3200 , I got a visible image . Lots of noise . Had to do a bit of work in Dxo PhotoLab and Topaz Denoise to get it somewhat acceptable (for me) . The red/orange color was a surprise , as was the slight out of focus appearance . Maybe its a function of being denoised heavily . Gonna try this again over the weekend (with a new, unused flower) . I have the feeling I'm getting leakage , maybe IR , from the flash .

Thank You, I actually made them fly by 18 times :p just kidding of course, I was in the right spot at the right time ...
They look like wingmen, flying in search of a target. Excellent picture.

Reminds me of that Far Side cartoon about how birds see the top of people's heads with a bullseye target on them. I hope you were not their target... 🕊️🕊️🤪

I used to have a 1996 Mustang Cobra. Great car, and pretty close in appearance to yours - is yours a late 90s model?
It’s a 2001 Cobra with a Vortech supercharger. I really like those specific body styles of the ‘New Edge’ Mustang. Hard to come across in good condition with low mileage like the one I have photoed. The 1996 Cobra I believe was the S95 body style.
