Long Meg and her Daughters is a circle of 59 standing stones in Cumbria. 'Long Meg' is sandstone (unlike the other stones) and is by far the tallest.
I've finally taken the plunge: replacing my old D200 with a D610, plus Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8 and Sigma 70-210mm f2.8. First impressions: I'm loving the extra detail and quality, but there's a big difference in weight...

Actually, you're somewhat correct...the tail is known as a fluke. Could be that whale tail just sounded too silly.

for the past few months, I have caught myself checking out used Fujis (after seeing the excellent images your produce). Of course, it's far from being just the cam, but I am jonesing for a test
very nice pic man!
Very nice shot MacRy. The back of the his head lighting is unusual and is interesting. His face in shadow gives him a solemn look.
I like the composition, and the gradation of the background. However I'm a bit confused by what's going on on the left side of the moon..

My father's watch he brought back from Singapore at the end of the war.
It still keeps perfect time, but the case is quite worn and the glass is scratched as he used it every day from 1945 on.
I have phases of wearing it myself.

I know, you're a building guy, and a real good one at it evidently
my original description wasn't accurate enough; you put in the right context.
